Playing active from 2.0 patch, got one mirror 2 years ago.
Actually, I met PoE long ago and first play time was near 1.1 patch. And I have that strange memory, that I found ANOTHER mirror back that days and used it to mirror some generic item while leveling, just because I was interested to see how that will work. Never new about it's... "cost", cause I'm not interested in trade and didn't even knew about poe.trade and large player market back then. I believe it's true, just cause I want to have this fun memory, though, of course, no evidences can be retrieved from that old days (and one lost account).

In 2013 there was no poe.trade, people were using global chat and forum shops to exchange currency. At some point we got poe.xyz for trading items, which made things easier, but it was indexing only the items posted in forum shops. In 2016 we got the public stash tabs and most of the trading system we have today.

I play SSF, so a mirror is quite useless to me. I'd still like to have one - just one, to fill that ugly hole in my currency stash tab. :o)
