PoE 2 beta buyin price

Does anyone know if the buyin is $440 USD or NZD if it is NZD that is $790 and is a bit on the nose. i am all for supporting GGG but that is WTH.1

Nobody knows what the criteria for accessing the PoE 2 Beta are as yet. GGG will let us know nearer the time.

$500 lifetime purchases on your account will get beta access.

There is a way to see how much stuff you bought, i forgot where it was.

That's information about the Fall of Oriath beta, not the POE2 beta.

Cost for the key (if they are selling them) would likely be $30-60 and come with one of the supporters packs released at about that time

Also likely that long term supporters that have already spent over a set amount will be invited automatically(last time it was $500...might be the same might be more)

Also keep in mind that the beta may end up getting wiped before the actual launch and the most you will keep is the character name

For Oriath (3.0) beta it was in the first core pack, so $30. The first core pack now is $60 so I suspect it will be added to that and anyone who already bought it gets it sent to them automatically.

I don't expect it to be *more* than that as a buy in and previously if your lifetime spend was over $500 you got one anyway.

Remember when companies hired beta testers which was an actual job to test the game and were paid to do so and people want to pay companies to test their stuff? Times change.

Yes, I remember today.

If it is anything like Fall of Oriath, and it will be some accumulated amount of lifetime purchases, which was $500 at that time. I would guess if they go that route, they may bump it. Personally, I like that route. They had other ways as well, but cannot remember all the details.
