I've been grinding out the currency, and just went all in on my first Mageblood purchase. I'm about to fix up my flasks for more armour and resistances!

Hehehehe, yes, the item rarity and magic find is so good to optimize with mageblood when you focus on currency and drops.

And this league for the awesome amulets it's strong.

I myself always focus in PoE1 more on the action of high juiced pack sizes in b.i.s.-gear, but in PoE2 I stacked also 300% item rarity and the dropped currency is impressive high.

Yeah, the new ascendancies look so interesting.

With the Arakaali-tree and going HoA-crit and withers 500M should be early cheap reached. Or also the default HoA-poison set-up should be buffed into 150-300M before.

At the same time the tanky Trickster-notes will be missed. Probably I would compensate with the timeless jewel elegant hybris for cadiro supreme decadence (lifeflasks as es), or the watcher's eye will be already enough in much content.

I am optimizing some lategame stuff in PoE2 with The Pyromaniac Allstars, so probably only next full league I start again in PoE1.

But I am in the forums to watch the new ascendancies.

Arachnophilia!

With "Herald" as witch the HoA will get in Legacy of Phrecia 25 additional HoA-virulences ("Scourge") and +3 HoA levels ("Apokalypse") - Good scaled each 5 virulences will count around 110M, mmhmm, that will lead the build to 122-140 HoA-virulences and so to delicious 850-1400M dps.

In cheapest gear. Imba. Totally insane.



Because auras will be disabled, the build will have three defensive set-ups: hybrid life+es, CI, and mageblood to choose from.

1) As hybrid life+es Maw of the conquest as helmet or Kahuturoa`s Certainty as boots will be a good choice (or also rare boots unaffected by poison) and perhaps switching to The Svalinn or The Surrender shield. The Dark Seer sceptre +2 life / +2 es per lvl should be used before scaling HoA-crits.

2) Alternative we remain CI and choose as bodyarmour Lioneye's Vision, Brass Dome or rares with high es. Stasis Prison would be nice too.

3) Third with the mageblood armour and evasion of flasks again will be buffed valuable tanky by Skin of the Lords 100% increased global defences, for the +4 HoA-levels and additional the keystone.

Auras disabled

Instead auras we activate aspect of the crab, temporal rift, arctic armour, and when wanted defiance banner.
We add enduring composure for endurance charges or the new "Damnation" for elemental flat dr ("Future Guilt") and HoP as meatshields for flat physical dr.

New flasks | Recovery

Because we also cannot use the watcher's eye, in examples we add a recouping-mastery, use the flasks sorrow of the divine or bottled faith, the belt graven's secret, temporal rift, and/or buff up storm burst to leech with ghost reaver and vessel of vinktar.

Vaal discipline, and also in maps / with the Hateful Accuser ring + Soul Ripper-flask, can be used also or as belt-variation The Burden of Truth.

New rings | More flat damagereductions

Mana Reservation will be no problem, so we do no longer need the Circle of Nostalgia. We add instead the Anathema moonstone ring to stack 4-5 curses for enfeeble, punishment etc.

As second ring a hungry loop for skillslots (HoP, ball lightnings, or storm burst), or rares or The Hateful Accuser for Penance Mark are very valuable.
So also enough skillsockets will no longer be a problem.

With melding of the flesh we stack as usual already +90% max-resis early, perhaps in combination with Herald of Ice for easy additional +5% max cold-resis in "Future Fear". Help bandit Alira with 1 passive point.

As usual 100% spell suppression, 100% ailment-immunities, spellblock and attackblock are stacked beside too. Spell suppression and ailment-immunities we cap 100% with 1-2 small clusters "elegant form".

1B+ damage

Of course we use further the unique clusterjewel "Calamitous Vision" - when it's price don`t skyrocks, but it's a quite common drop for 25% more damage on top.

Vixens gloves are switched to Asenath's gentle touch-gloves or to the 4W-socket triad grips.

The 3-5 small clusters for auras and mana could be switched out against the minion-mastery for HoA-Unholy Might for a free gloves-choice / asenath gentle touch.

Probably also a double herald set will be valuable: Herald of Agony combined with Herald of Purity and Phantasms support (+ Withering Touch + Feeding Frenzy + Multistrike).
