Why did the Support delete the player name? It is a nickname and not a real name...

It's necessary for two reasons:

1. when you post someone's name for the masses to get mad at them, there are always people among the masses who go too far, think of death threats and telling someone to RIP their char irl

2. when a name is posted, it doesn't mean that person is actually guilty, because anyone can write a post and put a name in there of a person they don't like, yet most readers aren't critical and will immediately accept the post as truth and then that person gets backlash for something they didn't do

It is also weird why they removed the guy nickname... So scamming is allowed in game but u can't point out who did it?

Every game does this, it's currently a matter of he said she said and it's to prevent dog piling or whatever other fancy buzzword you want to use. Imagine some popular group decided 1 player was an enemy despite them never breaking the rules and gets them labeled as a scammer or cheater or whatever. It's a slippery slope, and it's happened in times past in older games, so it's not a matter of if, but when.

But if it's allowed/not against the rules he is not doing anything wrong, so there is no "he said she said in here"...

What pisses me off is that this game is very reliant on trade and does a poor job at it. I mean of course if u pay attention on every single trade (and also uses those tricks in larger sales to avoid double trades) u will be fine, but u just have to lose ur attention in a single trade and (if u are unlucky) u are gonna get screwed.

I do hundreds of trades and usually don't get scammed, but this league I forgot to double check an enlighten I was buying and got f*ed. Lost 45 divines. I just reported the guy and moved on because I know GGG allows that... But ppl thinking it is fine (and part of the game) to have scumbags trying to F u all the time is very weird to me. They are gonna exist for sure, but it should be a punishable conduct.

You literally do not have the bag space with that many divines, so without any prior knowledge on tricks on how to prevent it, you just have to trust the person to honour the amount. It was very likely a bot since the name was in special characters to deliberately make them harder to find or track. I couldn't post the name in global because of this, hence why I put up a screencap which is obviously removed now.

I find this very sad. I hope you reported the question in person and I hope they get banned for their overall low steal along with any accounts that funded the buy and got the mirror!

I'm a game developer myself and the logs tell the truth.

I did report them, but GGG is very hands off when it comes to this, they will not help me whatsoever, its sad because I was worried this would happen because of limited bag space and it did. It was my mistake for trusting the buyer to give me what they owed and not just run off.

I am understandably upset and this put a huge damper on my enjoyment of the league, grinding from here on will just feel like a loss and a reminder of divines I will never be able to make back in a reasonable amount of time, unless I somehow get just as lucky.

I'm not one of these crazy MF players or hardcore juicers, so make back a loss of 110 divines is going to take me a long time and I'm likely never going to make it back before the end of the league.

I think they are forced by law . They have something called Harmful Digital Communications Act and an online nickname might be included in that piece of legislation .
As per usual, GGG does nothing about scammers and let them do it again.

There’s no warnings or anything, people working their ass of to gather a mirror to be scammed at the end.

I get it ”Don’t trust anyone, always check” bla bla bla.

Nice company, if this was Blizzard you’d get a ban you’ll never forget and you wouldn’t do it again.

Also; GGG will remove anything they don’t like but does not ”break any rules”.

Just accept the fact.
hoho if this was Blizzard. That's hilarious.

You know what is even more hilarious?

Thousands of scammers scam again and again, one way or another.

Game is; Full of Bots, RMTers, Scammers.

Once again; Nice company.

Yes this ain't Blizzard, and they never will be.
You know why? Blizzard do care about their community so that every player feels welcome without the chance of being scammed or called something bad ingame that you do not get unpunished for, here you can write the most horrible stuff and scam people and nothing will happen. PATHETHIC.

GGG can't afford to ban scammers, they need their MTX $.

Something else you don't understand?

It's good that you reported them.

Scamming is against the rules but GGG can't watch individual trades so closely. It would be an overwhelming effort for them to try to police trades in great detail like that. The way it works is that when someone gets lots of complaints against them then GGG will eventually freeze their account. So this is why I say it's good that you reported them.

Anyway congrats on the drop and getting the 600 divines. The 600 divines is a pretty good chunk of wealth.
Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!
its kind of stupid that we cant actually trade mirrors just straight up in league or in standard now. as soon as something goes over 600 divines you have to go through some stupidity just to make the trade with swapping over things like shards.

example here, op doesnt have a bunch of mirror shards on hand, and it shouldnt have to come to that.

we need a minimum stack size of 20 on all currency except maybe the mirror itself. the amount of clicks too, mark talked about a button to dump all currency into the trade window and yes thats a help. but it would be better if everything chaos and below stacked to 50 and stuff like ex and divine were at least 20.

this isnt just a this league problem, you cant trade mirrors for divines in standard either and this price is the new norm because mirror values will always tie to standard values more than any other currency.

this should not be a thing.
