FSR and DLSS just put more stress on the CPU by lowering the GPU bottleneck. And in an already CPU-intensive game, this is just performance suicide.
What they need, is better utilisation of multiple cores as their multithreading still only partially utilises multiple cores. Even then it gets the CPU hot like in benchmarking. We need a new approach to particles in PoE1.
TL:DR GGG cannot add these things because it will just make everyone's performance worse. It would be like wearing fancy armour while gardening.
Alexander "I hated to study" Sannikov already answered - No, it's not gonna happen due to motion vectors required in the rendering pipeline which will stress your CPUs. Duplicate thread.
