Earthshatter of fragility lasts longer than its stated duration?
Oh i do hope this gets a fix.
I posted to this more than half a year ago and we had a rather quick reply, it would get investigated. I know this doesnt have the highest priority with all the big and great stuff coming out, but damn... I'd really like to play this skill with the correct numbers and it feels like this was forgotten. |

Hey guys I did some testing of my own and it seems to me this skill is not bugged at all. People who tested it before just misinterpreted how it is supossed to work.
Their assumption was that the timer for the explosions should start when U attack but instead it starts when spikes are fully erect. I've set up molten shell (3s base duration) with 20%q lvl 1 less duration (50% less duration) and tried to press the button at the point when spikes are errect and the expiration of ms and spikes explosion would line up. I then proceed to spec 25% reduced duration on the tree leading to 1.12s duration on both skills and to my testing they would still line up. For those who would like to test themselves according to my observations each spike emits a gust of wind when its first erect and this is when the timer starts, lining up ms with that would yield me best results. |

" Nope, you're definitely wrong about that. I just logged in to my same old Character from more than half a year ago to test it again very precisely. I got my Earthshatter on Less Duration Support and Swift Affliction Support, with some Less and Reduced Duration from the Passive Tree. This brings my Earthshatter down to 0.49s tooltip Duration. Now i did 2 tests each several times with a stopwatch. 1. Starting from the moment the Hammer hits the Ground (Not the start of the Swing, but the actual hit) until the Pillar explodes: 1.44s-1.56s 2. Starting from the moment the "Gust" until the Pillar explodes: 0.92-1.01s So with that as a result and a bit of my inaccuracy in mind, its firstly clear that the timer starts when the pillar is fully erect. Secondly the Duration remains bugged. Either the tooltip shows a false half duration of what the actual time should be, or the time is double of what it should be. ... As other people also tested and concluded. |

So, is it trash?
