What is the real purpose behind each Ban order?
" How do you even get to use "third party software" if you don't look it up in the first place . All "advertised third party software" by major streamers are all safe and legit so you either have a friend that told you about it and in that case he is the problem but this is not even GGG's problem or you did it on your own. Same goes for buying items with IRL money ... let's be real it's 2023 who doesn't know by now that this will most likely get you banned ? If you make a "mistake" and played with a shady software for whatever reason and wanna start anew just make a new account and learn from your mistakes. The only thing that can happen and I'm almost 100 % sure it's not even eligible to ban is to receive free stuff from global chat from an RMT guy. But again they have logs including your chat messages so yet again if you get banned it's for a good reason and no second chances should be given in any case. " You mean, botters should get a warning before being banned, right? Seriously? How exactly do you set up a trade or farm bot "by accident"?
TC, OP, whatever you want to call yourself, man up, admit you cheated and broke the rules, and ffs, quit taking this silly videogame so seriously. You are acting like GGG broke some clause of the Geneva Convention. You cheated, or your streamer friends cheated, got caught, and that's the end of it.
Whining here won't help anything, especially, if you haven't noticed, and you haven't because you are clueless and can't read the room, almost none of us care that you got caught and almost none of us think GGG is in the wrong. Also, quit using generalities, it doesn't help your case, all it does is make people suspicious and wonder why you constantly do that.
" According to the law, Ban topics cannot be discussed on the forum and I respect POE's rules. If I had RMT, I would not dare to speak up. And I also don't find any way to save my character like that. Specifically, Dear GGG POE, [Removed by Support] I did use items in the guild chest and didn't know it wasn't allowed or was against POE rules, there wasn't any trading here, just people having fun playing the game. I will be a good player and will not violate the rules in the game, and absolutely no RMT. I really hope Admin can reduce the penalty to a warning. I will never do it again. I'm willing to return the items in the guild chest, hoping for a lighter punishment. I made a mistake, and I regret my actions. I just hope POE gives me another chance. I will always remember this favor. I hope my email will be processed soon, so I can experience the game with my character again. Thank you! Last edited by Kieran_GGG on Nov 28, 2023, 1:08:00 AM

This is the end of the season, many accounts are fully equipped, they put unused items in the guild chest, is it illegal for me to use them? If I broke the law, because I didn't know, I didn't mean to break the law. So I have to ask again? What effect does the guild chest have in the game?

And why should I cheat, and break the rules, at the end of the LG season, why didn't I do it at the beginning of the season? Because I want to play the game long and seriously with my friends.

for example, awakened poe trade:
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3241654 Now, as far as the popular trade price app Awakened(that is used by many high profile streamers and GGG is fully aware of) it doesn't explicitly go against the ToS. It doesn't interact with the game client in any way, it interacts with your PC's clipboard. That's why it only works in windowed mode. It's not a true overlay and it doesn't interact with the game engine. The game engine itself allows you to copy an item's name into your clipboard, Awakened has a hotkey that searches for said item and pops up trade results in a separate window. All it does is save you 30 seconds or so from having to alt-tab and paste it yourself. It is not cheating. It is not hacking. It is not botting. It is not modifying the game client or giving you an edge over other players. It's a feature that most games allow you to have these days. I searched the ToS for the section about 3rd party apps and read it myself. It's not a blanket statement otherwise 90% of PC players would be banned. Steam is a 3rd party app. Afterburner/Rivatuner are 3rd party apps. Geforce Experience is a 3rd party app. As per the ToS you are not allowed to "Modify or adapt (including through third parties and third-party tools) the game client or its data, other than in the normal course of PoE gameplay as permitted in accordance with the Licence." Awakened PoE Trade doesn't do this. It is also reasonable for one to assume that this app is allowed since people have been using it for years and many streamers who GGG is in contact with use it, live on stream. What GGG needs to do is make a once-and-for-all statement about this. The reason they don't is because they know that if they decide to officially ban it they will lose some of their high profile streamers who provide them with a lot of free marketing. But they need to bite the bullet and either officially support or ban it. If they keep banning people for using something that seems to fit in some gray area they are going to lose paying customers. Nobody is using it for malicious purposes, some people say that they can't alt-tab out because it crashes their game. |

For example, the streamer was banned for using Awakened PoE Trade

for example Awakened PoE Trade
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3289055 that clarified a bit and it said, that GGG do not encourage the creation or use of third-party tools at all because they provide advantages for players that use them, and due to the dynamics of their policies, GGG unable to guarantee if a tool is allowed or would remain allowed in the future. |

Sadly again it's GGG policy not to issue "warnings" to account owners for any reason. Your account either gets banned or locked depending what's the "issue" is and that's it......
Everyone asking GGG about 3 party tools gets the same answer --> GGG advices that no 3 party tools are used since this could get your account banned. |
