anyone else think magic find items should be deleted?
" It's almost like they are not trying to cook soup, but enjoy the game the way they want. It may be different from what you like your experience to be like, but such is life. I doubt you mean to tell people they enjoy the game wrong, because that would make you quite bigoted. The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

" To milk both YouTube/twitch money and rmt money at the same time in some cases for some individuals hoho It's not hard to see the YouTuber/twitch players who play the game for their own entertainment and the typical content creator crowd that makes content or fake reactions for a living without a single care about the game they play. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

" There are always exceptions. and I know such channels. they are worth their weight in gold. extremely useful and the information can actually be implemented. But most of the time you see some videos where the preview picture shows some strange face with an open mouth and round eyes and it looks like his house is on fire? and there are more than enough top people in the forum. So thank you very much for your time, knowledge and experience. the guides helped me more than those insane videos on the platforms. | |
" Rare exceptions and unfortunately hard to come by these days with the large amount of bad click bait channels. But yea the forum itself is always the best source of informations, even better than most YouTube channels or click bait websites like maxroll. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun. I don't think they should delete any items from standard or anything, but I do think that IIR/IIQ on gear is just bad game design. You are deliberately using bad items in order to actually get good items. And if you don't do this, you almost never get good items, incentivizing you against using those good items. It's complete nonsense. I don't know how they can justify it beyond it being fun for what I am guessing is the minority of players by a large margin. In my opinion IIR/IIQ should only be on maps, scaling with the difficulty of the mods on it.
" They have already decided to lean into it even more. They have confirmed that item rarity will apply to currency as well as gear in PoE2. |

" Every single guide that claims using certain mechanic to obtain some div/h is misleading as proclaimed div/h for literary anything that you do in the game depends primarily on the speed of playing. |

" JUST BECAUSE you DON'T LIKE A PLAY SYTLE. DOESNT MEAN you should want someone else enjoyment to be removed. Instead of being selfish just concentrate on your own game. And allow other that enjoy A different play style to enjoy there's. Also remember MF creates trickle down economics for gear allowing others to buy at lower costs. Cheers |

" Ah lol. You know how many times I've caught myself signing off with Regards then remembered this not an email, this is a post on a forum that regularly devolves into grunts. I'm struggling to come up with new goals to keep me playing this game.

My problem with MF is that like everything in POE it becomes mandatory. Imagine that if you have 100x more MF you should have 100x the drop of someone who has 0, but that's not what happens. the game scales in a multiplicative way so those who have little or no MF will NEVER see a large item drop, on the other hand some less privileged people who even pay to have the cap, will see 4 HH rain on a map. in fact this last league discouraged me from playing this game anymore because it is OBVIOUS that this is being forced and if you don't do it you will never have an item upgrade which takes away the purpose of playing, D2 had its MF items in a subtle and punctual more as an addition to the game than an OBLIGATION. No matter how difficult it was to farm a Jordan stone, you would get one even with not much MF, wait here... no matter how much you grind, if you don't follow GGG's favorite Streamer's tutorial to the letter, you will never see a drop that's worth it. It doesn't matter which boss you're killing.
