Will PoE2 have male/female options for each class?
" To build off this statement some; It also allows the world to interact with those characters in more meaningful ways. Dominus is extremely and obviously sexist, as demonstrated by his comments to the scion and witch make clear, the maitrarcy of the Maraketh is obvious as well, treating men differently (often as lesser), and it colors several conversations with them in interesting ways. These are all faults in the world written with intent, that lose a lot of their impact when the writer of this dialog can't be assured of the players class and gender at the same time, and becomes extremely complex and hard to pull off the more choices players are able to make. I'm not of the opinion that it couldn't be done, but doing so is far more time intensive that I think the average player would consider, and I'd MUCH rather that time and energy go into making the game mechanically good, as well as narratively good. I'd much rather have one good story than six okay stories that have been overly streched and cut up to accomidate greater player freedom of choice in this particular regard. |

" We can only hope, but as far as I know it's a hard "no". Bit of a bummer, for all the "oh it's the loreeeeeee" the fact is it's cheaper to gender lock the classes. That's it. I get it, I don't mind them putting the $$ into making the gameplay excellent, but I'm kinda bummed that I can't have my male Witch. I always make male priests/mages and female warriors in my games. It's weirdly immersion breaking for me to have the genders swapped in this game. Fortunately, the gameplay is excellent so far so I can kind of force myself to ignore it. |

I also like this option to happen very much but GGG doesn't seem to care about these gender choices or they would have done it already.
Unfortunately. |
