Why is it always 1 week events?

I don't know about the rest of the community but I have a job outside of PoE. So 5-6 days out of the 7 day event I am working. That gives me a couple hours a day and maybe a day or two off to spend on PoE. What am I supposed to accomplish in this time frame?
I understand people are bonkers and get through the story in a couple hours, down endgame bosses in a day, etc. But I'd like to participate in some of these random events from time to time but it's always such short time windows to do so. I'd barely get into like tier 6-10 maps in a week. I kind of wish they would be month long and you just pick the one you want to engage with it. Or if you are really good and have free time, you can do all of them. But maybe this is just me. I've just never been a fan of the event schedules because they seem to favor fast racing style players. Last bumped on Nov 16, 2023, 9:54:59 AM

Yea.... 1 week is pretty tight, but will give it a try and see how I do

I think a lot of people here have a full-time job here and are fine with the events.
The events are not supposed to feel like a short league, cause their only purpose is to fill in a short time and entertain players till the next league because the majority is already long done with tota. Wasn't there a month long event in like Synthesis or something?
And it was pretty much dead in a week or so |

Not sure if they use the same hardware so they would have to triple the resources necessary to run 3 at a time?
I agree, personally, Id have a lot more fun with a month long event, but I think the people primarily funding the game play a lot and are pretty done in a week. | |

1 week is enought to take even 95+ lvl, what are u talking about. I have work 5\7. And it takes for me about 3-4 days to take 90+ lvl

The events span over weekends so you have plenty of opportunity to push if you can make the time
