Thank you, I'm tired of being poor. LETS GOOO loool

Dont worry, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Take your time to learn PoE, every bit of knowledge transfers to a better game play experience and, if you so desire, more in-game wealth.
After a few weeks out since the season is already over for me I just wanted to play a bit, stepped in, played an evening and made like 50 divines from 7pm to 11.30pm, kind of by accident, not even desperately trying.
Once you start to understand all the little interactions in the game you will have no idea where to put your leftover divines.

Do you actually have those divines in stash already or did you just farm up stuff that you'd evaluate to be worth 50 divines if you sold it? That's the big issue i see when people talk about div/h numbers, most of the time the income is purely hypothetical.

Well, I left the league on 181 Divs in my stash, logged in yesterday, farmed stuff, sold that stuff, and ended up with 230 Divs when I logged out again.

To be 100% transparent though: I had leftover Harvest sextants that are not included as a cost, also their cost might be higher now as to when I bought them due to the rise in costs for yellow lifeforce. I also did not include the fact that I was 2 maps down to finishing a eater-invitation, I ignored that I had 4 mavens splinters leftover when selling the Maven´s Writs I farmed and I also ignored the 1k chaos in my stash that I used to quickly buy missing breachstones, invitations etc.

To be clear though: My intention was not to lay out a specific farming strat, hence I never said "I farmed XX Divine per Hour with this". The goal of my post was more on the side of showing that once you have the game figured out, money comes in FAST with whatever you do - hence the "kind of by accident" part. I was not doing any specific farming strat other than my already set up atlas, finishing a few harder boss encounters, delving a bit (though I am already at around 600 depth, so you can´t take my results for granted in that regard as well). I just mindlessly dove into the game and made good money with it, that was my point.
No worries, i wasn't implying anything, i was just curious. Leaving aside a big "lucky" drop like an ashes i've never made 50 divines in 5 hours just by "playing the game" and i'd honestly be at a loss if asked how to do that.

Part of that is probably being a standard player where the market isn't as active but even in the 2 leagues i played recently i never got 10 divines in an hour. 1 or 2 maybe and that's optimistic. I've never used a farming strat though, i just run the content i like to run and sell what i don't need and i always thought that was holding me back.
But if you made this much without a specific strat i'd like to know more details i.e what content and what dropped that got you that much.
I'll probably play league again one of those days and effective money making is a part i never really bothered with.

Well, the "I did not follow a specific strat" is only partly right. Because of course, my atlas is set up a certain way and every setup is kind of a strategy, isnt it? I set it up that way because this is the type of content I enjoy the most, hence I also end up farming that. Why was it not a specified farming strat? Because I ALSO jumped randomly between maps into delve, and decided for no reason at all to do a few feared runs and maven invitations. If I am truly focussed on farming money I strictly following my plan without deviating from it, hence the "mindlessly"-part.

Bit of backround in regards to that: Ever since harvest came out it has ALWAYS been my favourite mechanic - I love the colour scheme, I hugely enjoy the additional crafting options it provides and I also was a huge fan of the big nerf to its power. It was overbearing, and now its content you can run if you want to, but dont have to, making it more special for me. Only change I actually dilike was the removal of reforge pref/suff, but I get it. I even loved the garden management and I was sad once they were gone.
So naturally, I tried to make Harvest farming profitable and tested tons of different variations, including the new Crop Rotation Keystone (which is not really worth taking). With the tree I am working I generate, on average, round about 3.7k lifeforce per Harvest.
If you consider that 3k yellow lifeforce is 1Div this late in the league (its an appreciating asset, they start off by like 10k per divine, mature to smth. like 6k per divine and end up at ridiculous prices like this at the end of a league), then you see that JUST by farming harvest I am making more than 1 Divine per Map if you ignore the costs (which I did, due to having enough sextants lying around). Also, this farm takes quite a considerable setup as you are strictly running eigher corrupted unidentified maps, or 8-mods. All of those I had still in my stash as leftovers, since I ran that league mechanic quite a bit. So naturally, I am referring here to a mechanic that actually takes a considerable amount of setup if you start from nothing and if I missconstrued that then sorry.

Aside of that though: Being 600 depths deep in delve is starting to make quite a good amount of money as well. You will find a lot of bosses, a lot of specified fossils, and a good amount of cities that drop all kinds of good stuff like maps, azurite in big amounts, or awakened sextants.

Lastly: I blasted quite a few maven invitations with leftover boss maps and I ran a few feared encounters with 95+ quant that are bound to drop some currency. Even without any big drops you are netting quite some money - ilvl86 unident watchers eyes still sell solid, bottled faith will drop from time to time since u are able to kill the boss two times... And no, I didnt have any huge drops like rational doctrine.

Being that deep into lategame opens up all kinds of possibilities and therefore u can make money with whatever. Naturally, my build is pretty powerful and can do all of those things, which is definately a contributing factor and should be taken into consideration when making comparisons.
I guess I just have to look into late game stuff like harvest and etc. I've been playing for 10+ years and still feels like I'm barely scratching the surface.

LOL foreal thank you for asking the right question, I mean I guess if I calculated my whole inventory I should have 1 more div XDDDD but no I didn't know people calculated like that including market value for items.

The current prices are pretty normal. I am playing a non meta build and I even noticed a lot of my items are kind of expensive. I mean just getting an item with 3 res and max life, and movement speed on boots, is easily 150c to 3 divines. It all balances out depending on how rewarding the league is, or is not.
