I had to quit the league, and you should quit too probably

I have issue with mobs one shot you with decend defences

For me at least, it did get somewhat better since the "performance patch."
Only real problems I still have is in blighted maps and Rogue Harbour. Overall, it's still worse than before the update though.
The league content itself runs fine for me on a fairly low end pc.
Of all the reasons to quit the league, this seems like the least likely one. TOTA has plenty of problems even without performance issues.

The end is nigh

Not having any issues at all with the league or the game so it sounds like a you problem tbh. Not sure why others should quit just cause you got some issues on your side with your decade old toaster setup lol

I'm not heavily invented in the league yet cause it's hard to play two games at the same time with friends asides from work and also outdoor fun cause it's freaking summer.

Why do people like you feel such a duty to blindly support companies to the extent of diminishing game issues as irrelevant or just a "you problem"? Do you think that GGG is going to give you a cookie or something? Do you get a special forum badge for most loyal forum warrior? I don't get it. If the issue doesn't apply to you just ignore it.

I don't agree with the OP saying people should just quit the game based on his experience but that doesn't mean his issue is a "you problem". There are lots of threads and posts of players having performance issues so it's clearly not a "you problem". The game isn't unplayable for me but it's certainly running very poorly. Loading times are long. Game is crashing all the time and the overall performance is not great. I do NOT have a "toaster". If I can't run a 10 year old game with an RTX 3070 Super that's not a "you problem" that's a "GGG problem".
I conditionally quit a while back

I have spent well over $1000 on this game with all the MTX, stash tabs, loot boxes (which was moronic I know) and some supporter packs. I also have the best PC hardware and PoE's the only game that has performance problems. Problems tied directly to a patch.

I stopped playing a while back and what I'm anxious about is them shadow patching it and acting like it was nothing. "A very small minority of technically illiterate people experienced an issue. It looks like they finally resolved their own issues".

If it's not explicitly addressed, I won't return. I'm tired of gaming companies and their shady practices, disrespecting loyalty. Especially a decade's worth of loyalty and continuous support and spending.

And to those bots who're scripted to undermine literally every post about performance issues and to shill for GGG - "It's a you problem" - you contribute nothing. Your posts detract from what could be a constructive discussion and you deliberately derail every thread in order to get GGG to close them. We see you for what you are.
I'm struggling to come up with new goals to keep me playing this game.

Yeah. Your post is great.
It really boggles my mind too that GGG did this.
Performance issues made it unplayable. I'm out too already.
just GGG being GGG

From time to time they release unplayable patches, but on the bright side, long strings of umplayable garbage like we had on syntesis are not the norm

Leagues being umplayable on the first few weeeks for players with some unfortunate pieces of specs are kinda the rule for poe, sadly. Some challenged people talk about how its your fault for having a bad rig, but poe dont play nice with certain pieces of hardware, if you have a non-mainstream graphic card for example, it will likely run much slower than it was supposed to in a pc with similar specs, its kinda well known fact every major patch is a bit of a slot machine, esp if you customized your pc or got it from a more obscure manufacturer

And for the white knights coming to claim its because the game recieves constant updates: Dont bother to play that card, you see, you dont even need to get into the game proper to get frame drops: poe lags even on character select screens and have massive loading times on hubs on top of frame drops if someone other than you is present if you play near the supposed min specs. In notebooks is even worse, some rigs that can handle norse god of war or devil may cry 5 still have ocasional frame drops when you interact with some league contents. Poe is just atrocious clusterfuck of bad coding that they likely cant get rid of because its buried deep into the game base structure and i bet one of the reasons they choose to release poe2 when 1 is still very alive is likely to wipe the slate clean and get rid of that legacy code

On the bright side, they are quite adept at band-aiding the situation, so performance patches are likely coming

tl;dr if you can't play due to performance issues or you just hate the league then close the game and go play something that actually makes you happy. Make that player count go down for good until next league. PoE doesn't deserve your mood getting ruined for

even shorter tl:dr - You should not play things you hate or things you literally technically can't play.

This advice gets my thumbs up.
Load time is big
I have invisible textures/textures not applying
And I don't know why, nothing drops in this league, 150 maps ... 0 divines, 0 reliquary key, 0 divine card worth lot of chaos ... I'm farming beasts, I only found 2 Craicic Chimeras... while some people drop stacks of 4 divines doing nothing special , I don't understand 😑 I cannot spend one afternoon at looting nothing... It is too much frustrating and disgusting I stop a league for the first time and will never try again.
