People exploiting reverse knockback...

You guys cry about everything. Apparently using tools already in the game is exploiting now. No wonder games nowadays are hollow, unfun, controlled shells.

hit the nail on the head. This was icefrogs philosophy in dota and the game was a blast back then
GGG really wants people to use nondamaging support gems.
8 mod maps are the new alch and go.

Pretty disappointing that streamers are encouraging this broken abuse.

Hmm i had to double check the post date on this as it is OLD news, not really abuse but smart use of game mechanics like it was years ago.

To be clear this is NOT an exploit. All of the interactions involved are fully intended by design. There are no bugs here to be exploited, it is simply an effective strategy. Blaming the players/streamers is inappropriate.

The real problem here is that it's an abusive interaction that is a failure of GGG's balance testing. You can be certain that they will fix it at some point, but will that point be now or after the league just before the mechanic goes core is anybody's guess.

The issue is that this is possible by any character, just by equipping a few gems, i.e EVERYONE is now doing it.

EVERYONE is now making 10-20 divines per hour.

So you're admitting to doing this as well? Ban yourself as an example to other no good doers and maybe they'll do the same!

It's worrying the amount of people here who think that this kind of behaviour is healthy for the game.....

Sure it's broken, sure it's op, sure it's an unintended mechanic and prints currency. Good luck to you if you want to take advantage of that.

I WONT be. I'm just dissapointed that the supposedly most talented players are aware it's going to be fixed, are aware it's broken, and yet they still choose to do it.

I want it fixed because I want a fair playing field, I want people to be able to get currency through skill, through knowledge, through power and dedication, not everyone and anyone putting on some random gem links for 10 chaos and then earning 50 divines a day. It's undeserved, it ruins the economy, and it isn't fair on those of us who "play fair" and want to progress using our actual characters.

Sure, I can join in and get my 50 divines a day by doing it, but what does it achieve? nothing. It WILL be hotfixed we all know that, so you can all flame me all you like and then cry once GGG nerfs it but even the people abusing it are saying they want it nerfed. Sorry but that's just ridiculous and shouldn't be how this game is designed.

Nothing should ever be so far and beyond another skill. It creates a compulsory meta and that is not healthy for the game, nor the economy. It creates a huge divide between "rich exploiters" and then normal players. It'll be impossible to catch up once a vast majority of people have 50-100 divines sitting in their stashes.

The price of a mageblood has DOUBLED in a day for example. I wonder why... hmmm . As a non exploiter, this just screws over players like us, who play hard, and play fair, and try to save, but can never compete with exploiters. An exploit for people who love arguing semantics is something that takes advantage of a flaw. This is an exploit through and through and when you know it's an oversight, and overpowered and choose to do it then you are openly admitting to exploiting.

You must really hate other people having fun if you sit here and post the same complaint minutes apart. Also why are you calling it abuse? Is getting so much DPS that you instakill bosses also considered abuse? What about lab runners who are so fast they run by enemies with phasing before they even get attacked? What about heist builds who don't kill and only use walls/minions to block them from being damaged? What about Delvers who stack so much life gain on hit they can live in the darkness while hunting loot?

Every mechanic has builds specifically built to take advantage of the weakness. It is called min/maxing. Are you complaining about the people who have builds dedicated to sanctum farming and are coming out with 8-10 divs per sanctum? Quit being so dramatic and just go play the game and have fun and stop letting the way other people play the game ruin your fun.

Maybe they should patch off of those, better for the game.

I wouldn't call it an exploit I looking at the mechanic day 1 and thinking you could easily trivialise this with knockback.

But they should fix it, well honestly it shouldn't have made it in in the first place. Some non combat gems getting usage is fine but you can't really have a setup make the whole thing auto-win.

Its gonna make things worse for all of us in the long run.

A friend of mine has won every match hes done since the league launched with taunt totems which is a similar type of cheese.
