FPS Locked on Dx12 or Vulkan Renderer (Fixed/Solution found)

I had two monitors plugged into my GPU. Unplugging 2. monitor changed PCI x1 3.0 to PCI x16 3.0 in GPUZ and I am now able to run DX12 without issues. Don't be like me :D pls dont laugh
Mines displaying PCle x 16 4.0 @ x8 1.1 in GPU-Z but I have no idea how to change that on my system. I'm using a laptop and the baseboard is Aorus 17 XE5 which I did some search for on google but couldnt find much for that motherboard specifically.

this thread is old, do not nerco it as it may not apply to poe 2 or the current build of poe 1

That's a really bad take.

This issue is something that applies globally to multiple games that use DX11 & DX12.

Also there was no mention of issue they were having being poe 2 related; so no need to just assumed and add that in.

As for if it works for poe 1 or not, it doesn't matter, because as stated, your bus lanes working at slower speeds tends to affect a lot of games; be it old or new.

Unfortunately I cant help you if its laptop based. Laptops especially proprietary parts tend to have special unique settings that work differently.

I would recommend opening a ticket directly with your laptop manufacture if you believe you integrated GPU is not working as intended. Since they are the most likely source to help you.
I had issues with my PC for 6-8 months but your solution number 1 fixed it. Just want to say thank you.
Check the Nvidia APP - > Graphics - > Global Settings - > bottom - > set the Whispermode to Off
Sorry to necro this thread, but I want to thank you beyond words. I've struggled with FPS issues when I have a good pc not just on PoE but other games. My 3070 ti was seated in the furthest slot away from my CPU and I didn't realize this would cause frame issues. I checked the Bus lane on GPU-Z and it was bad so I reslotted it closer to cpu and boom. Problem solved. Thanks bro.

I am glad its helping people out. Made this when I was frustrated as well. So I am really glad its helping people overall outside of POE.

Have a good one sir
Yeah I don't care if this is a "necro" to this thread. I want to thank OP for putting this stuff out there. I had spent HOURS troubleshooting this. I played for a week consistently with absolutely no issues and then after one reboot I can't get above 25fps in my hideout. This needs to be pinned or stickied somewhere.

I was disappointed when I downloaded GPU-Z and saw I was already on PCIE x16+ but a simple reseating of my GPU along with dusting out my entire PC (including the GPU socket) with some compressed air and all of the sudden I'm logged back in with 60+ fps on dx12. Thank you so much.
