So I completed lava chambers before this exploit was widely known... Will GGG patch it?

I completed lava chambers before this exploit where you can basically print divines via leaving it unfinished, and i've been in about 3 streamers chats since that they are all gushing about this "feature" and telling everyone about it.

Now i've completed it, and even my second char I made has it completed to. Pretty unfair my account is essentially bricked for a irreversible exploit.

Do GGG have plans to fix this? I'll be quitting league if not, as it's pretty unfair others can do it just because they are in "the know" whereas i've been playing the game normally.

Is this a Kirac div card thing or a real exploit?

In any case, GGG should either bring back the currency to uncomplete maps or proactively kill any strat that relies on having a particular map uncompleted.

So, if GGG don't remove the potential for players to earn 7 divine for saving up their kirac missions and/or buying explorer scouting reports, completing all but 1 atlas mission and investing heavy amounts of time into this, you're going to quit the game? It's not even guaranteed lol. Why the tantrum?

I'm in the known on this one, but i still think this is stupid and just should not be part of the game.

But worse things happened, like people getting 100divines per sanctum run because they forgot to playtest the double currency mod... turning it effectively in to item dupe.

I think Sirgog did a good job of outlining the basics of it in his video but it's not as incredible as people are saying.

So, first you complete every map except Lava Chamber. Now Lava Chamber will be the only non-special map that appears with Explorer's Scouting Reports. You will have a ~1/3 chance of getting one with a div card reward per scouting report from my limited sample size, which means you need to spend ~NINETY of them per final 7 divine reward. Assuming we go to the usual 200c/divine that's 15.5c expected value per scouting report. Currently it's 11.7c expected value. Seems great, right?

But, the mission doesn't proc early most of the time. Most of the time you basically have to full clear the entire map (minus the boss room of course) before it will pop. Currently buying 3 scouting reports and near full clearing the Lava Chamber will give you 32c net profit. What does a normal T16 alch and go boss rush altar map print? 20c or so? And that 32c net profit is gatekept by Kirac missions and requires at least 1 trade.

An experienced player would make less currency doing this strategy than just boss rushing maps unless someone sells you a ton of reports at a time with no markup. Plus, it's one of the most awful maps in the game to run so the only fun part about it is the slot machine pull.

No one can automate this strategy at scale either because you'd have to complete 100 maps on all of the accounts. All of that setup to let them build up 2 missions per day to have a 1/15 chance of 7 divines, which you'd then have to run manually? Not gonna happen.

As a casual I can see the huge appeal (1/15 chance per day of 7 divines payoff) but the opportunity cost just does not make it a good time investment for experienced players. Right now I would value 1 report at 1c, probably not more than 5c each in 10+ bulk. One single big creator making a Reddit post/Youtube video on it could push the strategy from being borderline to complete bait.

I'm going to keep burning my missions til I hit the jackpot and then I'll stop. Just a few more pulls on the slot machine and I'm sure I'll hit it.

Is there any other game out there where players have as big of a FOMO problem? Are people that hungup on making sure they copy the streamers so much that if something happens they can't copy, it kills their ability to have fun? The chance of getting 7 divs once every 30 maps is not a crazy profitable strategy. I guess the only big perk to it is you don't need to do anything special, just farm maps until you have 100 kirac missions and then buy a bunch of reports and go. But no one is breaking the game with this currency farming strategy. This was already well known last year for other div cards.
