Well I wish her the best wherever she ends up. She was a great CM and I think the community really enjoyed her style of engagement (I certainly did). The timing of ExileCon 2023, given the content, is very strange, but linking it to Bex leaving seems pretty tenuous. I suspect she has known she would leave for a while and told GGG. She just agreed to leave after the con (pun intended). Does she have kids? That is often a solid reason quit working. Could she be looking for part time work rather than full time? Unless, there is another gaming company in NZ, it is unlikely she is moving to another game company. Could she (and her partner?) be moving abroad? Certainly, there might be similar jobs in other companies in Auckland. In any case, I wish her well in whatever her future plans might be. "Gratitude is wine for the soul. Go on. Get drunk." Best of luck to your next step in life, whatever it may be :) 10 years in one company is quite a lot.
