yes, just use a standard NeverSink loot filter, and put to low strictness at start of league. change it stricter when you start seeing loot that you no longer care about.

the guide and OP won't really "instruct" you on what loot filter to use. it's more of a QOL thing. we don't really delve into the crafting of meta-rares here, which would directly impact what bases you want to incorporate into the loot filter to see in game.

Loot filters are separate from the build guide. I usually use neversink loot filters. It will be updated before the league begins.

any tips for sanctum as cold dot? i tried it with RF and i couldnt get past the first floor with it. it was hard not to get hit in melee range,and i assume cold dot is the same?

Should be able to shoot creeping frost still, yes? Vortex just saves your bacon when things get close. Probably have to move slower, and play more carefully, since you're losing a bunch of damage by staying longer range.

Like what the previous poster said, use creeping frost and cold snap from a range. In Sanctum league, dropping Determination and Grace for Haste and Zealotry was a thing since armor and evasion did not help mitigate resolve incurred.

However, as of the latest patch notes, armor and evasion will now help mitigate resolve, although we do not know by how much. So we have to wait and see whether the aura swap is worth it.

Regarding the defense, It seem you didn't metion spell suppression. Do you plan to stack those? Also spell block from tempest shield only seems to be low.

Spell suppression - no we don't. Deaths while mapping are usually due to physical damage and degen. We will stack AR and EV to migate physical damage, chaos resist and Lethe Shade for the latter.

Spell block - we don't intend to max spell block. The more important part of tempest shield is shock immunity.
