Do you have detonate on left click and are moving? This makes it feel much better than manually detonating it.
You also want mine throwing speed on your weapon, amulet and helm enchant (as soon as you can afford it).

I'm just doing chisel, alch and go, low investment high speed mapping with red altars. I also skill blight in the beginning of the league and switch to delirium after a few days. Blighted map drops sell immediately and you get them really often. With empowering towers + stun towers, you perma stun blight monster + bosses and never fail it.

I wanted to express my gratitude for the comprehensive build guide and informative videos that introduced me to the icicle playstyle. I've been enjoying exploring it.

I have a suggestion or request. Would it be feasible to create a consolidated Path of Building file encompassing all the different versions, including various Skill/Tree/Item setups? Currently, the main page's arrangement feels a bit chaotic, and having a unified PoB might greatly simplify the understanding and progression of the different options.

I find the early game acts brutally difficult compared to other builds solely because of the pathing we do and limited damage we have. I feel we grab a ton of life on the tree that I wouldn't normally for the first 3 acts.

I saw that there was some talk of a pconc version of leveling. Do you have that around still? Or recommendations to make it faster? I don't mind having to respec around 20-30 passives if it means that my leveling experience is 3x better.
I saw that you utilize vaal side areas, can I ask 1)how do you profit/do them? And 2) Will you be using the new keystone and vaal nodes this league?
Theres potential trick to get more burst damage vs boss. Icicle mine hits 1x per mine, but tornado skill, during chargeup phase, allows to chain off itself into boss. It basically works like hydrosphere before it got nerfed, added 1s cooldown. Duration is short, but you can preload mines, then cast tornado before detonating them and you get 20 chains that go back to boss. With amount of proj icicle mine has, and fact only 1 can chain per mine, you can get consistent 20 extra hits, and then after tornado deals that damage as dot. It is much better burst than using same setup with eye of winter, where all proj can hit (shotgun), so tornado only gets some % of them chained back, it isn't true double damage, more like 20-30%.
With icicle mine if you time this right, your first 20 mines hit 40x including that extra chain off tornado.

As for leveling, whats your prefered way? Level 1 icicle mine after merveil sucks, damage is really low, unless you have decent flat damage to spells wands.
Build also doesn't really take any mine nodes initially, so it could technically run any spell, trap or bow skills. I feel like icicle mine gets good after 1st lab with tailwind on, starts to be good.

I did some further testing and you can use Pconc. It does really well.
Last league I didn't want to rely on it, because of the nerf and no opportunity to test before league start.

Act 1 until level 12 / entering 1st floor of merveils zone (caverns):

Caustic Arrow + Mirage (+ Pierce, if you get a 3-L)
Puncture (only for additional dmg vs. Brutus)

End of Act 1 until Act 3 or even until Act 6:

Poisonous Concoction + LMP + Volley

This league start, I will just skill a few vaal side area spawn chance nodes too and do them when I see them. I will NOT skill the Keystone at league start.
If it turns out to be worth rerolling them, I just take the Keystone.

Thanks a lot! I can try to improve the structure a little bit, but for everyone who doesn't use PoB (or doesn't know how to use it, how to switch trees, etc.), I want to have everything available here too. I also think I have to add more information about certain things, because some players who start with this build, could be doing much more dps with only a few changes to their current gear.

About Tornado: You only have 1.5 seconds after summoning it. Even if every mine hits twice, you only save 1 second (because it takes as long to throw another 20 mines.) I was testing it prior Crucible league start vs. Shaper Guardians and Conquerors with bad gear and wasn't really faster. As soon as you have "ok-ish" gear, you kill everything in a few seconds anyway. If you invest a lot and make it Uber viable, it may be useful vs. Uber bosses though!
