[3.25] ❄️ Icicle Mines Deadeye ❄️ Cheap / League Starter / Fast Mapper / 1st Day T16

are you able to do pinnacle bosses with this build?

i havent tried any.

ran a bunch of tier 17 maps just for gold. die a few times but mostly get through them.

if you get bored can you look at my char (glack) and tell me if i missed something or should change something.

i switched things around a few times. sometimes i get lost when changing gear and might have forgot something important.

fun build though. ty for keeping it up.

- remove the +30 life mastery and put the point into the "lucky" spell suppression mastery
- I'd use a QS + Jade flask; remove Sulphur and either Diamond or Atziri
- flask charge on crit doesn't work
- you should get "reduced effect of curses on you" on one of your flasks
- you should get a Dissolution of the Flesh with more than 24% ("more" is a multiplier)
- HH is very cheap now (12 Div), you should farm one and try it out!

hey thanks for the info. i changed a few things you recommended.

i hate using hh even if its cheap.

is mageblood something i should get or upgrade others first?

i really thought flask charge from crit worked so glad you corrected me.

ty for your time and remember that pruning a branch can save a tree.

I found a nice IRR high budget iteration on youtube with tons of DPS:

That's basically my IIR setup I've been using for gold/uniques farming for quite some time now^^. It's at the gear progression section for this league too!

oh very nice, I just saw you added it! the dps diference seems massive though? Can't really figure out why this is yet.

There is no dps difference. It's the same gear / gems etc..
What you see on https://pobb.in/icSdhhG7dMiQ is only because of different (wrong) PoB config / settings...

Is there any way to account for Nimis in pob? Because I understand the dps calculation without actually considering Nimis right?
Hey guys. Been a while since I played the league, but figured I would chime back in with end of league feedback on the build for those interested in potentially league starting it next season. This build is awesome and the pros by far outweigh the cons below.

Pros:
1) Quite possibly the best league starter I've ever played
2) The fact it can run almost all mods makes it feel great for completion & juicing
3) You can play this as a starter & finisher
4) Starting gear is affordable and there are clear tiers of progression

Cons:
1) Dissolution playstyle will not be for everyone
2) Not a great bosser, but not terrible
3) You will be squishy. If you absolutely can't play a squishy build this is not for you.

I've played 5 different builds this league and this is the one that stuck with me for everything but pinnacle bossing. For something like that I'd still recommend a dedicated bossing character. I took this thing from day 1 to Mageblood/Nimis territory and it plays very much like a bow character with the upside of a miner. Like many projectile builds your strength will be in putting out so many fast moving projectiles that offense becomes your best defense.

99prosorc does an amazing job responding to questions and helping with changes between patch notes, etc. This build is NOT overpowered, but very powerful. I feel like that is what keeps it from getting smacked by patch notes greatly as there will always be more powerful meta builds, but if you play this build you will be pleasantly surprised.

Also special shoutout to Vortigaunt1337 as if you read through the Q&A over the 3.25 league you will learn a ton about the nuances of the build, how to grow and get past different barriers. I recommend anyone who is struggling to read through posts in the 80s-100s and you'll probably have your answers there.

What else can I tell you that hasn't been said? Map mods. I personally do not run 70% chance to avoid ailments and desecrated ground. You can do these mods, but you'll notice they are slower & more painful. You will at least want to pick these maps out and run as a special safer set. Everything else can 100% be run even no regen with an enduring mana pot. It's really not that noticeable.

If you look at my poe.ninja profile you'll see me running all kinds of setups per week. I've run both versions of the gem and would just add that early on in the league the fanning version is super helpful for bossing. With Nimis this becomes a negative and honestly just a higher end version of the build I preferred the regular gem. I hardly run a min-maxed version of the build. But have crushed everything I felt like doing this league and this build was perfect for settlers IMO. It's fast. It has room for IIR for more gold. It maps and maps well.

I'll wrap with reiterating that this can be a very cheap & easy build to clear the atlas. Because you do not need a 6-link even in endgame, you can focus early on the key uniques and then ramp into the rest of the set. You WILL need to get good corruptions to take this to the higher end. But same can be said for most builds. Gem levels is key to getting great damage out of the skill and each upgrade will make sense once you get your dissolution combo working.

Thanks man, appreciate! Can sign your statement 100%. I will be here back for 3.26 for sure, since I had the best league start ever with the build and you guys.
