Community Proposal for Middle Eastern Servers

Dear Grinding Gear Games,

We are a large group of Path of Exile players in the Middle East who currently use the European servers. While the servers provide an enjoyable experience, the ping is not ideal, currently at 90ms and over.

We know that the past challenges for most game providers were locating a viable server hosting options within our region but that is not the case in the recent years. The community has been excessively growing within the region while they are unable to experience the game via lockstep due to the high latency.

We understand that creating a new server can be a significant undertaking, but we believe that it would greatly benefit the Path of Exile community in the Middle East. It would also attract more players from the region to the game.

We kindly request that you to consider creating a server in this region, a suggestion would be the AWS in the Kingdom of Bahrain but I’m sure you have a capable team to look into the available options.

We believe it would greatly enhance the Path of Exile experience for our region and would be deeply appreciated by the entire Arabic/middle eastern community. Thank you for your time and consideration.

+1, having Middle East servers would go a long way for our gameplay experience with poe, we love this game and we have a large community that would love to have servers that are close to them. The current gameplay experience is very laggy for us and hinders our overall experience.

Please consider adding servers in the Middle East.

We really do need this; the lag spikes are becoming unbearable. sometimes I would leave the game for a day or two just because I can't tolerate it anymore.

I'm based in Jordan, been wanting this for many leagues! mapping and Farming uber bosses on 75++ ping is not fun at all, not to mention the desyncs (rubber banding).

Sirus beam hits you then the voice prompt (Die), well yes Sirus, I died.
Flame dash from a boss attack (Shaper beam/cascade of pain) = nop, rubber band back to it and eat it.

So not only playing on predictive but also have to double predict the boss attacks based on animation and not voice lines.

There are also many others things.

Please GGG consider this, we love you and we love the PoE.

as a middle eastern player I strongly agree with the post and playing with a ping that is less than 90 would be a great thing and will also attract middle eastern players and I hope GGG considers it .

I agree, this would broaden the playing experience for many, even people not in the Middle East. The majority of the people I play with are from the Middle East, but playing on alternate servers like mentioned here.
I personally couldn't imagine playing at 150 ms constantly.
