Announcing Ruthless
I was really hyped for Hardmode, now I'm not sure, sounds a bit too hard to play... I'm pretty sure I will test it, but the hype is gone...

So is Chris going to stream the game now? Since there is finally a game mode he actually wants to play? Would be nice to see the PoE game director practice what he preaches. I would watch him play. Who better to learn from?

"Rutless" for pain & cry more ok why not.. it's cool
and for fun in game and loot ? |

Making the game more tedious/inconvenient does not make it more difficult
Yet another unpaid Path of Exile 2 Alpha Tester
Path of Exile 2 will be a great leap forward |

YES!
I was worried sick, as it has not been mentioned in a while. I am looking forward to it! |

My hype is beyond my capacity to convey :OOOO
GG GGG Existence is infinite, a weave of live and dead, beyond the understanding of the many mortal threads.
Embrace death to honour the lost, no fear in life no matter the cost. With one of all we are and all of one we trust, throughout past, present and future...... be just. |
|
WOW this got me super-hyped!
I am currently (re-)discovering the game in hardcore mode, I guess I'll (re-)discover a lot more in ruthless mode! |

epp !

This sounds awesome. I'm a new player, and I've played exclusively HC. I'm the type of gamer that enjoys challenges and enjoys high difficulty settings. I feel that if I beat something on an easier difficulty setting, then it was really only a half-victory.
I am really looking forward to this mode. Players will have to be a lot more flexible with their builds. I'm willing to bet it will incentivize hybrid builds, as you will need to take advantage of the limited items and support gems that are at your disposal. It should be a blast. Ruthless sounds like the hardcore/survival/arpg I've always wanted. Ty for this GGG. Don't listen to the haters. This is an awesome direction and I am willing to bet it will attract a different crowd and new players. |

i love this
"Is there such a thing as an absolute, timeless enemy? There is no such thing, and never has been. And the reason
is that our enemies are human beings like us. They can only be our enemies in relative terms." |
