How do you feel knowing everyone turns off everything but the loot filter sounds? Any plans on changing this?
(2-3-2019) Buff underused skills (3.23?!)+ selfcast, stop nerfing defense, build in threshold jewels (3.23?!), implement D3-style looting, add death log + MTX preview, actually rework flasks, stop balancing around the .01%, unnerf Harvest, ADD NEW WAYS TO LEVEL, finally implement Loot 2.0

a) There are several quest turn-in speeches where an NPC is handling an item as they talk (e.g. Kurai handling O Eternal.) Would you ever consider touching these up with foley sounds so they're not just disembodied voices speaking in isolation?

Do you keep a 'back catalog' for in house sounds / music that hasn't been used? What's that like?

Some sound effects are so iconic and loved that they can greatly impact choice of build (mainly enemies shattering or exploding) since you will be hearing that sound a lot. Are there any plans to specifically change/improve the sound of some lesser used skills?

Why do Rogue Exiles and people dying occasionally sound like loud screams muffled?
Why did the level up sound change? It sounds really sad now :( Are these bugs or intentional changes? |

Somehow nearly every single boss based on a rogue exile (e.g. all of the bosses in Arena Map) still plays the effect, a year and a half on. At first even the actual rogue exiles did it, too. More questions, or, really requests, disguised as questions:
a) Any chance of tweaking the recently-added Book of Skill on-use sound effect? It sounds like the player is using it 2-3 times instead of just once, or like the game is lagging. b) Will the players' vocalizations for PoE 1 ever get revised? Looking through the sound files, there's a lot of asset reuse between ostensibly different exiles. (I tend to also recall people complaining about the Scion squawking a lot while using spells...) c) Have you had any luck tracking down the other PoE 1 player actors for adding lines to Acts 6-10? When can we expect more? d) Petarus and Vanya in Act 9 conspicuously refer to the player with the singular "they" in a way that is unidiomatic for most English speakers—the two even have Exile-specific voice lines in Act 4 where they use "he" and "she" unhesitatingly. (There are echoes of this in the Heist contract "The Negotiation", when Vic refers to Kurai's thief as "them," but maybe he's operating in low light.) Was this a stylistic decision on the part of the writers, or the result of needing to manage the audio team's time and resources? As a programmer, the handcrafted feel of PoE's text and audio has always been something I've savoured) (e.g. how "Find the remaining pages" in the Archives in Act 3 has four different quest texts) so it made me sad when 3.0 came out with clear evidence of corners being cut in the dialogue. e) What exactly were the technical constraints that caused the fiasco around the shattering/Herald of Ice sound changes back in 2019?
