Following up on Recent Feedback

In lake of kalandra the rewards of the encounter dont seem to scale with the difficulty of the encounter. this leads to frustration when you open the last chest on a difficulty 10+ map only to find nothing that is not filtered out.
furthermore league mechanic tiles need to spawn a chest too preferably with mechanic specific rewards.
Right now the lake is maybe slightly more rewarding than alch and go while being much much muuuuch more rippy.

In other feedback I would like for crafting to make a return to this game and if that is not possible I would like you to tighten the roll ranges for high level items so that finding something useful in the fountains of trash would be possible.
Sad response by GGG. I don't know what to say anymore. I guess it is time to move on to something different.
The more GGG communicates the more they prove just how disconnected they are from the player base.

The harvest changes are amazingly bad... harvest was the core of crafting for path of exile , now it just feels like another random unique drop that you just vendor , it's better to just delete it completely at this point instead of making it a trap for more inexperienced players

It would help if employees at GGG actually played POE. This is so far off it isn't even funny.

For example, pretending like people couldn't get unlimited harvest crafts gated only by currency on TFT. You would piss fewer people off if you just removed harvest at this point.

Archnemesis

Monster drops flasks and quality currency feels lacking:

-The further you progress in the game have monsters drop more gcps, chisels and glassblowers in addition to armor scraps and whetstones.

-The further you progress in the game have monsters drop more quality flasks and potentially unique flasks.

Monster archnemesis mods being difficult:

With feedback, assess which combinations of mods are too difficult and adjust accordingly.

Kalandra League

-Have the rewards scale appropriately with the difficulty. The further a tile is from the entrance the more rewarding it should be. League mechanics should be appropriately more rewarding than mapping.

Harvest Crafting

-You could possibly bring back some of the harvest crafts by gating them behind currency prices. The more valuable the craft the more expensive it should be. For example; people in 3.18 would pay say around 8ex for a harvest craft. That is approximately 56000 life force currently. RNG still affects life force drops which can be appropriately balanced.

Eldritch Currency

-Seems like eldritch currency might end up in a good spot.

Conclusion

When nerfing stuff, gradual change is probably better than a massive overhaul. Massive nerfs are more likely to overwhelm people and cause their perceptions to be worse then things actually are. Small nerfs are generally better received, allow for more testing time before release and are more easily communicated. Balancing out the amount of nerfs with the same amount buffs is also essential in promoting and maintaining a healthy perception of the game among players.
Well, im not a pro gamer. Previous league ive played, i just kill mobs and hope for something drop for crafters and sale it(something like fractured good Base or syntesied)

3.19 is a first league ive started in first Day of it and first league ive tried to craft something.

Now the example: you want to make 3 phys pref + crit mult + crit + attack speed + suff staff.
You need to spend 10-20 divines(cost of all fossiles, maybe more) to make good prefixes.
Then you use pref cannot be changed(2 divines each) and use harvest Critical with hope for attack speed t1-t2 suffixes.
And now we are getting the main trouble: if you will get 3 bad suffixes, you have only one way to get your weapon back: orb of annulment.
When you use this orb, you must flip the coin with 50/50 to remove suffix, then add pref cannot be changed-slam with harvest again - annul 50/50 with orb iw you got 3 bad suffixes again.
When your annulment orb is removing prefix = your weapon is dead. You need to spend 10-20 divines to make good prefixes again.

Soooooo, maybe you are Lucky and got 50/50 gamble with annulment orb. You spent 15(for example) divines to make t1 add phys to attack + t2 increase phys + t1 phys-accuracy. And 10 divines for x5 pref cannot be changed. 15+10=25 divines. Next reroll(+2div)+orb of annulment will break one of your prefixes.

You open poe trade and see the hell... Now the weapon with same stats as your costs 50chaos-3divines(depends on what pref was removed)
Reminder: you spent 27 divines.

I am common player, 3.19 is first league when ive spent so much currency for craft. Its very painfull.

Explosions with fractured items will help you to save few divines, yea, but, you still cant save your item from getting it dead. Thats why ppl cry about keep pref/suff harvest.

Yes, uber-uber bosses dies on 3rd Day of league is not ok. But there is 1% of players who can do it during the league. Aaaad they are can do it without great crafted items(woooow).
Another 3% can kill uber maven with good gears on build that they like(not that build which destroys every thing with 15divines budget)

Another 96%(im here) didnt kill uber maven on 3.18 league with keep pref/suff alive, with overpowerrd recombunator crafts. With cheap and good rare gears from trade. With cheap unique gears.

Now, when main harvest craft is dead - i cant even sell some good fractured items coz crafters are not playing or they are not crafters anymore. Thats my vision of situation. IMHO, right.

You have solaris/kitava/etc touched archnemesis mobs. Add oshabi touched mob who will drop free harvest crafts with some important removed crafts(reroll keep preff/suff or just suff/pref annulment)

LAKE OF KALANDRA
Remove Kalandra reflection tile. Make Kalandra spawn at 13 and higher stages of lake. Make Kalandra always leave the mist that allow to reflect your amulet/ring. And add reflected chests that drops random mirored(with doubled stats) rings/amulets.


LOOT
Loot is ok. Rare uniques must be rare. It is not ok when things that you can see 0-1 times per league if you are solo player (like aegis or esquire) costs 100-150 chaos.

MY OWN CRY
do something for melee builds :D
The difference with melee and range builds is awfull. You need to spend much more currency to make your melee build same effective as low cost traper(for example)

We are also aware that there is a lot of disappointment around certain Harvest Crafts being removed. Previously, Harvest Crafting was balanced by how difficult it was to get the crafts that you want. Now that crafts are tradeable, Harvest's power was reduced to be more in line with other crafting methods. We understand that there is a call for us to bring those crafts back but it isn't really possible while allowing Harvest to remain tradeable.


You couldn't be more wrong if you tried. The values for Harvest crafting are so abysmal, nearly NO ONE is trading the lifeforce. You have ONCE AGAIN misconstrued the terminology "crafting" and "gambling". Do you need a Dictionary? Because clearly, you have no concept of what the terminology you use actually means. Harvest gambling feels terrible in every tier of option you think should be in the game. Again, either bring back a meritable system or delete Harvest. This tease of a mechanic is just insulting to everyone's intelligence.

While this isn't exactly what you want to hear, I can say that this issue was pushed very hard during discussions to see if any compromise could be made. Harvest's crafting potential without being gated by rarity is just too high.


Nice job showing how clueless you are as to how the mechanics of the game work. That's actually quite impressive how ignorant you are as a team.
