Following up on Recent Feedback

I agree with others, Harvest was *always* able to be traded. Removing deterministic crafts with that justification is wholly wrong. Allowing deterministic crafting doesn't reduce the average player's playtime, it allows them to possibly set a goal for an item themselves, and spend the time to get it, even if it's slow going. Now, apply that time into every item, and most people will at least dabble a bit more with the crafting and spend even more time playing as a result, with others finding enjoyment in finding ways to fine-tune their gear and not rely upon trading with others or trying for 5 straight 1/2500 chances. It discourages the vast majority of players from rolling their own gear outside of things like +3 bow, and as a result, once people trade for gear they feel is "good enough", odds are they're going to stop playing shortly thereafter if that's the extent of that character. They may reroll, sure, but it's going to have the same process done to it.

Sure, keep influenced modifiers off Harvest, keep alt/regal spam a thing for that. Fossils and Essence will always have their place as well, even if it's used mainly as a setup tool for Harvest, but gutting Harvest and keeping it gutted with the justification of it being tradeable is completely farcical. Remember, the league started off with massively inflated costs of crafts, with absolutely horrid lifeforce droprate, yet reinstating one of the few things that made Harvest worth it can't be figured out?

I love this game and have played almost every league for almost a decade, and just want to be able to play and enjoy it while feeling like I have a say or any control over what gear I use without a 99% chance to ruin it, and by extension, the character.

Before this league when i drop divine i was glad about. Now then i drop ex i think "what a shit, it can be divine"

Also you guys kill economy, party farmers and fast farmers make a lot of currency and items, it's boost economy a lot, make strong items more accessible to low skill/time players cause more items in trade = lower prices ofc.
Now trade in end of 2nd week like trade in mid of 2nd month. TY GGG YOU BEST COMPANY LEEEEEEETSGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

P.S. I Forgot to say about "your vision of fun gameplay" AHHHAHA, guys, run maps to find currency|scarabs AN mob and call leechers and cullers is fun ggg? You think so, i swear

Hey GGG, I'm going to try my best to make a suggestion regarding league specific tiles in The Lake.

My biggest problem with these is that they don't feel like they scale, even if they do scale in reality this feeling is a negative experience. I think that a good way to address this would be to make the scaling more directly apparent.

my thought is that each league specific tile should have an "Objective". usually in the form of a monster. this Objective should be where the rewards come from.
I don't know the teams feelings on raw linear scaling of rewards, it was an issue in Legion league but Kalandra league has a defined upper bound. I think that the rewards from the Objective should be something every player will pick up that way you don't get the "oh i killed the tile and nothing dropped poggers"
moment.

As an example I will use expedition. You already have the expedition bosses in place, have the boss drop one template of reroll currency of the correct type for each level of difficulty the tile has. Each league would need different scaling, with expedition it would be too rewarding to drop for example one exotic coinage for every difficulty level, so maybe it scales at one template for every 2 difficulty. astragali should drop as a stack of 3-4 per template, scrap should be 2, and coinage/burials should be limited to 1 per template. put the rate of scaling with difficulty in the tile description so players can strategize around this info.

metamorph (obj = the metamorph): drop only catalysts per template, 2-3 per for the common ones, 1 for prismatic and fertile.

breach (obj = the breachlord) drop a 5-10 stack of splinters of the proper type per template.

harbinger (obj = a harbinger king) drop ancient, annul, harbingerx2, horizonx3-4, chaos shardx8-14 per template.

I'm sure you can figure out the rest if you end up liking the idea. just a thought. Maybe this will be helpful in fixing these tiles.

Lastly, thank you GGG for not going silent during this time, I really appreciate the courage it takes to continue communicating in the face of this much anger/hate/backlash.
I don't understand how it can be difficult to balance a game where the fight is PVM, no monster complains... why not make happy, a little, the only side that can complain????

What do you mean its not possible? Thats a load of crap. What you MEAN to say is: We dont want it to be that way. Its completely possible. There is nothing mystical about it. You just DONT WANT IT TO BE THAT WAY.

Why is it that you hate your players? What is this attitude that you know best, and when your players cry foul, its just because we dont understand the game? HOW COULDNT WE UNDERSTAND IT? THE ONLY THING WE ARE DOING IS PLAYING IT?
Thanks for feedback. I understand part of remove some craft options because people will spam until get the mod their needs then you should think about Eldricth annul on jewellery, belt and weapons, QUICKLY add to this league not testing again on the next league.

Another problem is Divine roll on harvest, removing this makes the whole market way too pricy, newbies cannot afford items and making various build seems impossible. Again I understand people will spam on harvest but the thing is switch main currency from Exalt to Divine crashed this. So you should re-think about this too. My idea is create some option in harvest such as cannot harvest roll on same item more than 5 times or something.

Well i honestly do not see any think that is a fix to the problem. just some super minor fix to local problems that the main problems are cousing.

Archnemesis:
need to be totaly removed, after who know how much paches its still bad and it is dosent matter if a pack of 10 monsters or 3 kill me no matter how much deffence layers i got, it literly force players to not make build they can enjoy playing.

at the very least this mechanic dose not need to be on top of others, put in soly on the regular monsters in map.

Rewords/loot:
Past leage loot is dead. i ma not a streamer nor a hard core player and i mostly play casual solo 2-6 hours depennds on the day, i honestly killed maven once in the past and sirus 3 times. right now it is not just imposible to get the loot i need to even advance to red maps, my only hope is that i will find the new loot goblin once to actuly be able to play in maps.

only place i found loot was haist that the build i do like to playes cant do, or legino and i don't realy like to do just that one mechanic.

at this point i stoped doing 80% of leage mechnicsas they are useless and just add the dificulty x10

you need to make loot back to how it was honestly it was great, risk vs reword , couse right now its just a lotery and finding a loot goblin as solo player is like finding mirror of kalandra the item (imposible) and it is not making me like to even try to keep playing or advancing in maps. i just be siting in tier 1 runing strongbox and haist lockers and legion war hords.

Kalandra lake:
honestly i did like the animation and the looks of the kale and the lore.
but that all, as there is literly nothing els in it, it could bo some names les bird creature i care nothing about, i think its a waste of to use her like that.

loot in the lake is not good doing full miror up to tier 10-14 rooms give same loot like one legion or one heist and i prefer doind tham becouse it will take less time and i will die les to archnemesis.

Crafting/Harvest:
i think just remove it from core and get a new system all together.
personaly i just sell the life forst to make one more Chaos and can;t actuly afford to use the mechanic to craft.

3.17 archnemesis leage was awesome in the sens that you gave us the new atlas pasive and made it so we can opt to what end game we like to play.
basicly you did so we can go what what ever we like to do for end game in the build we like to do it.
the leage mechanic it self was bad and after geting the challanges for it i stoped using archnemesis.

right now you killed it, i can not longer play the build i like becouse i must make a build that is half aura staker half immortal block - 80% all res 100% chaos res 90% physical reduction 90% evasion and like at least 50% block for attaks and magic and the worst part it will still be one shoted by who know what from the other side of the map....

i play from Vaal leage, and at this point i think game lost what made it fun and enjoyable, right now its a lotery and i do not like to play in a lotery game.

Is it wrong for me to think if they change the Loot Goblin due to people not wanting to MF cull for BIG drops. They'll instead cause it to be worse like the harvest changes this league?

Maybe I've just been conditioned to think it'll be bad due to the recent changes going on.

Personally, I would prefer the old harvest over this new "tradeable" one. At the very least I had more crafting I could've done instead of maybe 5 crafts of lifeforce drop.

Could the harvest lifeforce use both the new "tradable lifeforce" and keep the old system?

Say we harvest a plot and it opens up like the old system with all the crafts on the plot. We can choose to use them as if or turn them into lifeforce. Of course, the amount of lifeforce would need to be tested for how much should be dropped per craft depending on tier of the crafts. Then used for crafting like it is now. Maybe even put it as an option to opt-in on the atlas tree?

Honestly at this point I'm just throwing out an idea in hopes for something.

you have a vision and numbers on retention for the last year shows that your vision is a fail , about time you stop all this arrougance and make the game fun and joyfull again instead of stressfull and useless grind and waste of time.

we understand u hate Harvest , remove the dam thing from the game and stop taunting players , there is tons of ways to icorperate these crafts into new leagues and into the game other than harvest . close the harvest door , enough

I think by now you know that this mess is affecting poe2 hype , like a lot , people are starting to lose faith in your ability to make that good .

I see no good reason behind changes that cause rage in the community , arrogance is blinding but i remind you that in any bussiness the customer is always right . because taunting customers results in direct loss on money , millions of dollars in this particular case .
