I've been with PoE for a very long time, played thousands of hours and almost every league. But i've really never been more disappointed with PoE after the recent changes in the past leagues.

As an average alch & go player, excited to hit T16 maps, this league feels particularly bad to me. I identify three things that are increasingly ruin the fun for me personally.

First of all, there are the unpredictable deaths, which are very depressing in the long run, even in Softcore. Especially because they feel random. If I fight a tough boss for minutes and realize I have to be really careful, a death is totally fine for me. This just shows me that my build wasn't ready for this fight. But when I endure such a tough fight and then jump into the next little bluepack and get oneshoted, the balance just feels bad.

In addition, the gear progression feels very slow. The drops are not worthwhile most of the time and the crafting is no longer usable for simple players like me. Especially in this league where buying moderate gear are suddenly twice as expensive because the crafting yields much less for the better players and the whole market is (even more) broken. Only farming currency to buying upgrades bit by bit is no longer enough. The market prices are so far away that it no longer makes sense to farm a single upgrade over dozens and dozens of hours playtime.

And that's where my last fun killer comes in. I really like the new Atlas system. I love it! But why are there still so many nice mechanics (like Abyss) that just aren't worth specing points into, because nothing realy useful or valuable can drop there compared to other parts of the atlas? The loot from the old leagues is just poorly balanced and undermines the freedoms of the Atlas.

Overall, PoE is also evolving from what I've come to love about the game. Large packs of monsters that burst away nicely with propper scaled gear, no big "getting stuck" on individual mobs when farming, just run maps quickly, collect loot and get thrown some carrots every now and then. The feeling is just gone and that's what always fascinated me about PoE.

I know GGG can't please every player. And I've come to terms with the fact that I may never be able to defeat the really big bosses in the game. And thats fine. But even if I no longer enjoy the journey there, Poe is no longer a game for me. It seems to me that the 98% of players who haven't seen any uber-bosses are getting more and more out of focus.

Heist league 2.0. All loot is in heist. Maps 0 drops, Lake 0 drops. Heist hoarding all the loot confirmed.
You try too hard to come up with something, but it's wrong.
The game has not become dependent on the development in terms of mechanics in order to be able to farm as much currency as everyone can. That's what a casual game is all about. Players who are happy with the changes generally don't spend many days on the game (standard players), and those who really try hard don't get much more than they used to, although this is the basis of development in the game, when you can surpass someone that you know locations, what things to pick up, what to buy first, and now it makes no sense to build narrowly focused builds, rush forward, this applies not only to the MF, the difficulty of the game is not in being one shot, you have been going through the content for a long time, but in the fact that you need IQ to be stronger than someone else in crafting, farming, etc. when you upgrade first and outperform someone in farming, other lower level people are required in the items you already have, and in the current development of the game, loot non-endgame players can afford the same as yours, because you can't do anything that will give you an advantage. I encountered when I sped the atlas with the fact that I could not buy or sell something, I had to wait until someone got the currency for the items in order to buy items from me and the currency was already me, I just stood afk because I can’t improve , I want to say this to the fact that this makes the game casual, everyone has the SAME development (we do not take into account those who come in for 1 hour and most of the time look at the floor and cannot develop in any way)
Why is casual this shit? - the game becomes deader, not interesting, boring because of this, players who want to be better want to convey this because they played 3-12 thousand hours, you make a game that players play 500 hours maximum and they get bored with it ! I had the pleasure of doing something faster than others, and in this league I felt that I was on an equal footing with a player who plays 500 hours and wherever I go, I can not make currency, I have to use TFT and resell bulk fragments or expedition logs, the most profitable farm!!! And this is not fun! There is no more farm in the game! What is better to do, in order for the game to be as cool as before, everything has already been written to you! All the changes that are happening right now, it feels like they are being made not for the main audience that has been playing this game for so long, but for the whiners who can't get through the acts...

I understand that you want to make a game that you like, because YOU are the developers of the game, but I believe that you need to be friends with the players, for bad deeds, we can do nothing but leave, but if you do something better for us, we write good reviews, we donate and we all are happy

It's time to listen, you don't need to respond to bad things with bad ones too, I never wrote anything on any forums, but in this league you imposed too much, that I was surprised that I lost the desire to play longer and not only me, this is not a threat, this disappointment, I advise you to relax morally, we are all people, make new content, but do not change the basic one, for which people love POE

You need to fix the loot before It is too late.
Console updates when? We are already patcheS behind…
Loot is still inconsistent !
I played ssf this league, killed all bosses (not uber)

I didnt droped a single influenced base in maps

Elder scarabs a now useless how about that?

The only influence drops are on bosses now and you pretend loot is still ok? I Don't think so...

And you should remove AN lootgoblins instead of wasting your time trying fixing it, there is no fun.

hmm looks better. because now rare mobs are waaaaaay tankier and more dangerous than bosses... and that just wrong. also blight maps are fuckin impossible. like wtf. maybe make its so you have a pause in between X runs to build turrets. dumb shit.
