What Happened with Items
Reasoning checks out for everything. Thing for me though is that I don't even have a reason to play anymore with crafting in such a horrific state.
This league my goal was to finally get an eternity shroud build rolling on ssf as my long term project. It was going to take a month or two, but that was fine for me. Now though, I've had to drop that entire plan because it's not possible to craft on influenced bases anymore. At all. My plan was to get one usable influenced suffix, then spam reforge prefixes until I hit moderately ok defenses. Now I'm going to need to repeat the process of rolling that suffix hundreds or thousands of times. On ssf I would never be able to do that, and this is the baseline crafting needed to get an equippable item. Currently, without reforge prefixes/suffixes there is only one valid way to craft items. First, get a good mod. Fracture, repeat until it fractures good mod. Get a second good mod. Multimod it. Pretty much all the other crafting tools in the game have been invalidated by losing reforge prefixes/suffixes. As someone who literally only plays this game to craft items I don't know what I'm actually supposed to do to enjoy the game anymore and I'm seriously considering finding something else to do with my free time. |

Appreciate for your explanation regarding to item's drop.
But, could you explain why you completely annihilated Harvest? Some of crafting options were unique, but you've remove it, in additional the number of available crafts per one Harvest were decreased from 12-15 (in average) to 1-3... |

i will try to give som points.
AN- it just feels boring eather mobs take ages to kill 0r they 1 shot you where is the fun in that ? loot- ok some mobs got a huge multiplyer and drop loot but thats srsly mby ones a 100 maps outherwise it just flasks,6 sokcets,low bubbel gum. also when you got 99 maps to next good AN mob you find like 2 things. harvest. nerf after nerf after narfe you finally manage to kill it good job if that was your intensions but it make your game less deep and hurts it more then you know. yes we come from a legue whit more loot but we come from a legue whit decent harves + recombinators we could do a lot off fun stuff. this legue we got a lake that dont drop stuff no intressting crafting and 99 % off mobs dont drop loot. i just dont understand why you do this changes to base game when this kind off stuff would be good for hardmode. hardmode- hard no loot base game - hard no loot whats the point whit hard mode then thought base game was aboute speed loot and crafting. |

No running non juiced maps doesn't feel good. and because one guy dropped a mirror doesn't mean all loot is fixed. AND you banned POM? that's just going too far. clearly you're just children that can't handle your job and cry when you're criticized. actually no. you're authoritarians. ban all dissent so you look good. that comes back to bight you in the butt. i won't ever be playing again. |

Another big long bunch of words that mean nothing. Even after all your changes the rewards are terrible, and now you have reassured everyone that it is not going to get better. "The Vision" wins out over the game the player base wants to play. What pathetic joke all this really is.

Thank you for taking the precious time to fool us. Maybe you think you are very smart, but the players are definitely not idiots. If this game is no longer interesting, why should I pay for it? Goodbye Poe!

"There was not sufficient time to playtest the change properly for feeling." - This is not something new. I'm pretty sure nobody played the versions that went live of last few leagues prior to launch. I don't know if it is because people are busy with POE2 or what but this is something that you need to change ASAP.
Now on the reward structure. In this game past your initial set of day 1 gear you don't find items that you wear on the ground. There you only find bases(even if they are yellow they are still just bases) and currency to roll them. This is why people cared about quantity waaaay more than rarity and why your patches for increasing the rarity here and there ultimately don't matter. Don't get me wrong I'd love to be able to find gg items on the ground but except a few selected unique items this is just not how POE loot works. If you want to make a shift towards something like being able to drop the best rare items on the ground (which is something that personally I'd love) you need to completely redesign the way items roll and in my mind this is not something that could be done as a side project in one of the leagues. And as far as archnemesis goes it is a complete mess. And I'm not just talking about the crazy fast rares that can 2-tap a well-build char with lots of defense with their autoattack. In theory fighting challenging enemies and having them drop good loot is great but this is simply not what is happening now. The new patch with the reducing of the defensive modifiers should help a little but for the most part the most challenging rare mobs are not the ones that result in loot explosions. Furthermore doing tens or hundreds of maps until the stars align and you get the right 4-mod archnem monster that will result in dropping let say lucky currency and having absolutely no control over it feels like crap because in 99.9% of the time you get nothing. Also having these super juiced rares presents a problem in a lot of other content so at this point I don't know if you'll ever be able to make archnem feel good. At this point I think the best decision is to scrap it and start all over again with emphasis on how mods interact with each other and with other content. |
