" that*s the problem: how can they fix it without giving the majority of all players without ultrawide monitors a large disadvantage? it's a problem, i wouldn't like to play games where is have a disadvantage from the get go. be it being inferior because of not having a joystick or a expensive monitor designed for movies in ultrawide resolution. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

"They fixed it by limiting it to 21:9. This doesn't break the game and is still a decent step above 16:9 without providing an unfair advantage. By now people have accepted it and moved on - except for that one guy. |

Path of exile is a non competitive PvE game except for races. This has already been discussed at length - slapping black bars on the whole game as a way to address an extremely niche unfair use case is not acceptable.
It is simply untrue that ultrawide support affords a unique unfair advantage that needs to be banned in the general game. Keep it out of races (why not limit that to 16:9?) " was it discussed with devs and they stated that it isn`t limiting their design space for new implementations? -- poe is always competitive, you compete on the market with other players. those who can't exploit the game early and often, lose against item price inflation in a league. and before some guys mention ssf ... ssf is not really ssf as long as ssf items can find their way back into the trade leagues. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
