Hey, not your average "what's the best merc i can play" or "how can i get this 10 div gear for 50c" average post. Just an apreciation one. Because, god I love this build, i've been playing it on and off for some league now, and it's the most fun I had in POE for a long time, so thank you Kelvynn#6607, thank you for this build, thank for letting me having this much fun in poe !

If you have +1 curse limit and your merc doesn't, his application of a curse will clear yours, but your subsequent apllication of a curse will not clear theirs.

If you want to use Asenath, you need to give more curse limit to your merc than you have, so their application of temporal chains does not interfere with your curses. Anathema or Doedre's ring come to mind.

Oh, actually... What are good anoints for mercs? I remember looking earlier but didn't find anything other than some extra AoE (that should affect the explosion radius, right?)

Crown of the Tyrant's is not worth the price, unless you already have everything else. This build has a huge amount of resist debuff/penetration. It's basically another copy of Blanketed Snow. PoB shows a gain of 6% more damage. For 30 div? You probably won't care about 6% damage when you can afford that.

Legacy of Fury's radius (3m) is too tiny.

Anathema + an on-hit curse ring (Ele Weakness or Enfeeble) is an interesting idea against bosses (obviously not going to wait for the merc to hit every trash mob). Then again, you don't want to have a merc out for uber bosses in their own arenas - it gives them 50% more life! That's much more detrimental than what a merc can give you.

Ylfeban's Trickery requires the merc to get hit, and there are way too many useless curses that won't do anything for us.

Garb of the Ephemeral: disable enemy crits in a large radius. That's an attractive defensive option for juiced maps and T17. The price of 9 div though...

Victario's Charity + Kineticist is interesting. 16% MORE damage is definitely nice. But how much it will affect the explosions? I'll hire a Kineticist next time I see one and test this.

The other day I got my biggest drop of this league. Which sold almost exactly for the current price of the Simplex base. Plus I had some more currency from other farming.

So then I went and prepared everything exactly as per the crafting guide: imprint, 6 donor amulets, some catalysts, and 30 pairs of Craicic Chimerals + Black Morrigans.

I wanted to record the whole process as a tutorial to add to the guide.

And then this just happened...

Found a new Kineticist. It's still pretty explody. Three free Frenzy charges from the explosions ain't half bad. Dunno if I even care to spend a passive point on +1 charges yet.

Grats on the amazing amulet, Kelvynn that's awesome. Also, really appreciate the consitent detail with every part of this guide. I am back to playing for the first time since a half-ass effort in crucible league and it's great to come back to this build and see how well everything in the guide has been maintained.

On the merc note, I've been running the victario's charity for frenzy charges, partially because I don't have a sanguimancer, and am consitently at max frenzy and find the explosions still pretty functional personally, but I'm also still working through the atlas so this may be different later.

Side note, for anyone else who may have thought about it, I had a thought to use replica ambu's charge for endurance charges, but party members is not the same as allies.

Replica Victario's charity works for both frenzy and endurance charges, though not quite as consitently with frenzy charges.

Thanks, I switched to the English version and everything is shown as search, but in my native Russian there is no such function, no matter how much I tried to write... it's like searching for a cluster gem.
