Hey man, i made the swap to this from a soulwrest necro (not fun dont try it) to this a few days ago. Ive played Occultist version of this also. This feels so much better all around for me. Im shredding content now. im maybe...6ex in and its nuts.

Hi! This build is great. But i have some questions cuz last league i played is delirium, so much new stuff. I played occ and now im swapping for necro, didn't like occ cuz can't run any t16 juiced deathless(without deli orbs) with 50ex investment. Already have enlighten lv.4, amanamu's gaze, some alt-quality gems, so i have about 20-25 ex in items and 30 raw exalts. What you recommend to get first for swap?

I can't really recommend just one thing with this generic of a question; look at the gear progression part of the guide and follow it for what you don't have and work your way up.

just a random thought, why dont use spectre to maintain uptime of the power and frenzy charges?
because not enough sockets

do the whispers affects every minion type that we use?

Would you say with the Squire it would do more DPS then Skelly mages minus a mirror tier helm?

yep.

but paired with anomalous controled destruction kinda keeps em alive.
Im currently skele mage with this helmet, so i know the pain :D

I love arakalis, but I supose 20ex is not enough to make similar dps to fleshcrafting mages ...

No clue, haven't played skele mages but generally I think this build has much more uptime and doesn't rely on a vaal skil to do majority of their dps (from what some skele mage friends tell me). Also much less hassle with not needing to manage an animate guardian and spectres

On my very tanky character setup I have 23mil sirus dps and I can facetank alot of the new uber-boss abilities, including shaper slam and elder circle aoe (all 3). Could easily push double dps or more with a more offensive orientated build

Nice guide! I was lucky enough to get a Mageblood this season and was looking for a build to use it. Unfortunately, there aren't many out there.
Ended up blindly following poe.ninja with a Arakali Occultist. However, I seem to have some survival issue for Ubers and juiced maps, especially with degens.

You had me sold on the Ascendancy explanation and Lethe Shade so I am planning to transition into Necro.

Does Brass Dome + Melding work or will you still recommend your current setup?

Most of the occultists use awakened void manipulation while you are using signal prey instead. Is there a particular reason for this?

Will you recommend life on hit cyclone and hard casting spirit offering?

I have pretty similar gear on melding setup and ended up to simu wave 23, not sure what is wrong. Imma link my pob later evening if u can check if there is something wrong. Tried 100% map too and didnt end up clearing it either :/
