Feedback on New Microtransactions

First of all, amazing work as always. I would prefer it so that if there are a few different boxes to buy, for example 1 for auras/effect another one for armours adn weapon effects and so on...

I like the idea of having some interactions with my hideout, keep it up!

Didn't buy either the new mystery box or the supporter pack


Effect on level up? Who cares

Effect while id'ing items? Huh Who cares

Effects that only occur from a crit? Not even that cool looking

Only cool effect was the reaper to be completely fair

The mystery box didn't look that great

The art was meh

The "duplicate" versions with different colors is still a duplicate to me

The only item I wanted from the mystery box was the treasure hunter weapon effect

That has a 1% chance to open

Im not gambling 5$ per box on a 1% chance... nty

Kiraq vault is uninteresting because it's only affecting specific unique items and usually GGG randomly giga nerfs unique items to make them unplayable

For example last league kiraq vault was HH, now HH is dead

If GGG offered me a full refund on my all supporter packs/mtx purchases and they delete all my mtx, Id take it in a heart beat

I will not support the game regardless of how good mtx might be, if the game balance and game direction is bad

I will only support the game if the game is in a state worth supporting

I vote with my money, other players should too

As an avid MTX consumer, I loved the direction the new MTX's are taking, and loved the new Mystery Box system.

As for Kirac's Vault, I would like to echo one of the first commenters and as for something similar in standard. Been playing there for the past few weeks since I won't have as much time to dedicate to the league and felt somewhat left out on this one.

Lastly, it would be nice to have a way to get rid of the duplicate MTX's of past Mystery Boxes... even better if we could exchange them for something like a current league MB (even if on a 3 for 1 ratio)

Anyway, keep up with the good work. League seems amazing! Wish I could play it. Hope recombinators make it to the core game!

I buy MTX when one catches my eye. Magebloom Map Device is beautiful and I want it.

The only reason I haven't bought an Arcanist supporter pack is that there is no option to have your Magebloom Map Device in the middle of the open portals (base map device doesn't have this problem). How am I supposed to effectively map, when the device opens portals in the furthest point from me?
With the base map device, I can rotate it and make the first portal spawn very close to me - this isn't possible with Magebloom Map Device.

Context: I'm buying one Supporter pack per each league for the last 15 or so leagues (I guess it is visible in my profile?), and usually buy something around mid-level Core Supporter packs.

And so, I was extremely happy to see extended lineup of MTXes. I'm buying packs to support the game, and treat MTXes as a nice unnecessary addition, but lately it were less enjoyable, as I have already like 15+ armor sets, and don't really need 16th one. With the current supporter packs it was a win-win: I've supported my favourite game *and* I've received stuff I really like.

I think PoE is very "oomph"-driven game: explosions on screen, loot explosions, those lootfilter sounds, etc. Therefore, I *loved* idea of MTXes which increase that "oomph", like a lvl-up ring. I was expecting Schavronnes tome to produce bigger explosion on identifying higher-rarity uniques or something like that: same idea of increasing "oomph". Looking forward to all the new ideas!

As for Mystery Boxes, I never was into that stuff. When I spend points, I choose MTXes which I like, which fit my builds/charecters thematically. As such, Mystery Boxes don't work for me: even if I like some set of armor or effect in a box, I might spend way too much to get it. New boxes put a hard cap on amount spended, that's great, but still it translates for me "at worst I'll have to get all MTXes before I get the one I need".
I know some people look at it from the different perspective: "from each box you receive at least the same value MTX, so it's no-lose-lottery for you", but I'm just not interested in random MTXes. Guess it's not my cup of tea

Kirac's Battlepass is... I dunno, it looks interesting on paper, but I guess I just reach my limits on per-league spendings, so I'm choosing between Supporter Pack or Battlepass, and Supporter Pack wins because it gives stuff right away so I don't lose value if I stop playing for some reason.
I'd probably buy it more willingly if it were cheaper, or included into league Supporter Packs, or at least if there were some kind of a discount for Support Pack buyers.

I dont like the new box. i am always buying each season 5-10 boxes to Support this game but the box went from 30 to 50 points. Thats a increase of almost 60% with worse skins. So i have to skip this season.

The Battlepass is a good idea but to expensiv for some uniques with a different effect. I would prefer to pay 20$ with some skill/armour skins. I like the idea to get items with progress of maps but not that kind of uniques.

Love the skill Mtx. It's the only reasonI I buy packs or tockens.

I keep praying for a Static Strike Mtx. Lab would be awesome, but anything else would be good as well.

Overall I love the new style MTX's. They look fantastic, with few outlier here and there. It is great that you explore new types of those.

In more details:

Kirac's Vault:
- 7 great MTX's, although it looks like at the moment some have bugs, functionality problems.
- Mageblood, maybe it is a matter of taste, but it does not look cool, actually quite weird.
- Being limited to a league is quite a bit of letdown.
- When compared to battle passes for (let's be honest) any other games it doesn't look much fun. Typical battleplans has many more rewards and much more variety of those. It for sure would not hurt to add some points here and there, an portal effect and character effect.

Mystery boxes:
- Again, great MTX's, but some seems to be bugged at the moment.
- No duplicates doesn't sound that great when you have so many color variations. If there were more difference between models that would be much better and appealing.
- Overall, cool content, but probably not that great as loot/mystery box.

Supporter packs:
- Let's repeat, one more time: Great MTX's
- That's a small gripe, but it feels like those packs lack coherent theme, especially Arcanist. What is medi-drone doing in death themed pack? It would be much better as stand alone purchase. Arcanist is basically all over the place. To make things worse Soulstunning feels like it belongs in Reaper pack, not Arcanist.

Maroider:
- Absolutely fantastic idea. People will love it or hate it, but it is really cool and bold idea!


All in all, arts team is doing amazing job here, business and marketing teams, not so much.
