There are different sources of burning damage, one being ignite. Just because you're unaffected by ignite (which is an elemental ailment) does NOT mean you are unaffected by burning damage.

You can get buffs from being ignited, that you would not be able to get if immune to ignite.
You can still take damage over time from non-ignite source that you may think is ignite, but is something else. Works as intended. |
