[3.22] Gryph's Immortal Cremation - Boss Killer+Simulacrum+Blight Ravaged Farmer
I crafed a new scepter and managed to get T2 crit multi + veiled 40% crit multi (while rare mob is nearby) suffixes and ended up crafting trigger mode.
Now I think is it worth redoing suffixes for veiled trigger and crafted crit multi instead? It took me about 15 ex to craft, and it will potentially cost another 20-30ex if I want to chase the 4s trigger. How much QoL is it compared to 8s one? With crafted trigger PoB says bone offering duration is 7.5s while cooldown is 8s. It means it's not up 100% of the time, though I can't notice it in game. Purifying flame and assassin's mark applying twice as often sounds like a decent reason to sacrifice 10% crit multi in the other hand. What's you opinion on this? |

" I would just make a new sceptre instead of recrafting that one. But honestly it's not a huge deal. As for the Bone Offering Duration, it's 5s base duration with 50% inc duration from the ascendancy=7.5s, except Bone Offering gets +1s base duration per corpse consumed up to 5 corpses. Which means it actually lasts up to 15 seconds. But yeah I like having the 4s procs on Mark and PF. It's not *essential* but it's nice. |

Thanks for this build because it's kept me playing the same character longest of all the characters I've done.
There's still optimization that can be done on helm and weapon especially, and also a level 5 woke empower in gloves will let me craft ES instead of +1 proj. But anyway, I just wanted to share my PoB and has some slightly different ideas. And before anyone asks: haste is for WE phasing mod for simulacrum. Swap out eye for bossing eye. I think polaric whatever unique ring might actually be better DPS but I made my ring and I'm damn well going to wear it :D (also better for ES) Would be nice to have a source of "cover in ash" but I reeeeally don't think I can squeeze that in except on the chest (instead of int) and I don't have that kind of currency. All gear is self-crafted except for chest (though I recrafted prefixes). Uniques and jewels I bought except mageblood which I picked up off the floor. Lucky! (Also lucky: T1 ES on the ele weak ring was from an aug def) https://pastebin.com/siwRMwF7 |

" Speaking of crafting a new sceptre... I'm currently trying to craft the BIS sceptre using your process on page 20 (thanks for the detailed step-by-step guide btw.) This is where I'm at yet Do you think the exalt slam approach is cheaper overall than aug crit? I simulated the process on craft of exile and it took me about 50 slams and annuls before I even saw a crit mod... Another approach might be going for "aug non-influenced lucky" harvest craft. They go for 40c on TFT so around 1/4 the costs of an exalt slam. Btw. fracturing the base alone was around 60EX lol (took me 2 tries - luckily a weapon recombinator saved my base after the first failed fracture) Last edited by maaalex#1930 on Jul 13, 2022, 3:12:35 PM

" Tbh instead of fracturing should have recombinate fire damage with +1 phys and +1 phys with +1 spell(then recombinating 1 pref and 1 pref, dont forget to benchcraft another exact same pref on both bases) and after recombinate +1 phys and fire dmg with +1 spell and +1 phys, classic 35% to win, +1 phys u get via vendor recipe basically for free, +1 spell and fire dmg may require some work at market for picking up good bases with low amount of prefixes and transfering them to correct base(opal sceptre) For suffixes I went with classic pref lock> reforge crit more common(something like 1/14 or 1/15 for t1 crit multi, nobody guarantee 2 empty suff ofc)>aisling Idea with cannot roll caster and exa slam is kinda nice, but i'd say u gonna buy lots of leo slam and aug harvest if you go this way 3.13 Was the best league ever! 3.18 Rest in peace my beloved recombinators, I'm gonna miss you... " That would indeed be an option. The T1 Fire Damage mod is suuuuper rare though. It has a weighting of 12 (of 89382 for all prefixes)! Means there are very few good bases with this mod - and usually it's already a crafted sceptre which costs more than 50EX... And rolling one yourself is almost impossible given the weightings. So if you poof the T1 mod you might be out of luck for a while until you find another one. I actually tried that 2 times and it always selected the lower tier mod... Then I decided to spend the money to fracture the mod. I'll probably farm some more currency and try the aug crit approach directly as it saves time as well. |

Well, even if you fail recombination - it's not 100% chance to lose fire damage, you could keep it for another attempt.
Also i used live search a bit earlier in the league to see fire dmg good bases pop-ups at market 3.13 Was the best league ever!

I made a couple videos.
Uber maven was before crafting this sceptre where my dumb ass forgot to divine the fire mod before fracturing. I'm very stupid. But after that it was so smooth sailing. First veiled for trigger and 5ex to hit T2 crit multi. I'll live with it. Anyway, uber maven, where I had enough DPS to skip both second and third memory game phases: https://youtu.be/_NTclMGz-fA And feared with height of hubris where I forgot to hit the apex sentinel until after I killed the first boss. Not sure it mattered in this case. I particularly like how the synthete died. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-QnEiyiCJw Last edited by totalnewbie#3746 on Jul 14, 2022, 5:52:20 PM

" This. T1 fire is so rare and expensive that it is not worth risking with recombinators. I've spent 5000+ harvest fire rerolls on Opal scepter and didn't catch it once. On trade it seems to be 20ex+ just for the mode itself if you're lucky. Then, [+1 phys] cost is zero and [+1 all] let's say 1ex for each base with isolated prefix (50c corrupted base, 50% chance to move to normal base, 30c recombinators, annuls/splits). With this prices you have to minimize the odds to lose expensive mode. If my math is correct, it's better to recombine [T1 fire] + [1 all/1phys] base, then do it in 2 steps that would require to recombine [T1 fire] + [1 phys] on the first step. Sure, it's 20% to success, but only 38% to lose the [T1 fire] mode. And we have some options to get the [T1 fire] and one of the [+1] modes combined as a bonus. With 2-step way, chances to lose the [T1 fire] are 35% on each step. All in all, aquiring perfect preffixes would cost not less than 100ex in average. That's why I just gave up and decided that Topotante's 79% mode is good enough. I'd better buy fractured 100% defences and gamble with 80% odds to move it onto Vaal regalia. Of course, all above is bullshit in case you're just a great casino player and capable of win the 20% lotteray from the 1st try. Last edited by p1ton4ik#0675 on Jul 14, 2022, 6:49:02 PM

" This is why I went with T2 fire damage on mine. xD Also successfully did the Vaal Regalia thing. :D Last edited by Gryphenprey#0653 on Jul 14, 2022, 7:55:45 PM
