Hey I've switched to this build and feels a bit rough on the dps side, obviously I'm missing the really expensive parts, but now I'm left here with a really slow bossing, (cant fund it using legal ingame options) and unable to do clearing content since the ai is so iffy + i dont do any dmg outside of vaal skeletons, oh and also aniamted guardian got 1 shotted with a sentineled rare and ate 10+ ex

Any logical way to improve it? I'm at the point where the next item upgrades would be multiple exalts, same for gems, and dropping hp talents for dmg since clearing a map would be 15-20min

Hey bud, you have made a lot of mistakes with your jewel placements. You have to put your unique jewels into your cluster, you have a minion damage helmet which gives your minions less life, the minions that are supposed to shield you and stay alive. You can change some of the rares you got like belt and gloves for more damage. +2 wand could help you. Defend with 120% armour is not necessary at your level, you can get grave pact instead. You can work on your large and medium clusters to save some points there, a stygian belt helps you with another abyss jewel and you could place more abyss jewels on your tree with some minion damage on minion skill use or some cast speed for minions. Also you can work on your rings to get stats you are getting from your tree such as str and dex.

Does unsupported flame wall really add that much damage? Just curious cause it of course cost a gem socket.

His build does roughly 14.5 million dps without Flame Wall up and no gem changes.
With Flame wall active and all projectiles traveling through it the dps is bumped up to 15 million.

That's roughly a 3% dps increase.
Is it worth it? Guess it depends. If you don't have anything better to put in, might aswell use it.

Some other option you could run is Increased Duration support linked to Molten Shell and Enduring Cry to increase their buff effect duration.
You could also run Second Wind linked to Flame Dash and Enduring Cry giving them 4 and 2 charges respectively. Another option could be linking certain utility skills to Enhance or Faster Casting. A level 4 Enhance linked to Snipers Mark provides the same dps increase as Flame Wall does so linking Enhance to Snipers Mark, Molten Shell and Enduring Cry is definitely one of the better options imo if you prefer to not use Flame Wall.

Some other options is to run Phase Run if you want more movementspeed and Phasing. At higher budgets you could also look at running an Auls Uprising or Ashes of the Stars(Charisma) and fit Grace or any other big Aura into the build. Ashes is super expensive though and would require Charisma and an Enlighten Support but would provide an actual dps and survivability increase. Would put you at 119 mana saving an additional socket cause you wouldn't need Lifetap support any longer. Would have to get block cap from a Determination Watchers eye though.

It is mostly for cosmetic reasons, I use transcendent flame wall which gives my minion's projectiles a rainbow like rebound effect from sniper's mark.
It is a great interaction ^^

Problem with phase run is we have to cast skellies every 4 seconds so it creates a problem with sustainability of the phase run.
Phase run is a more suitable skill for summoners such as golem users because they could convocate then use phase run to become almost invisible and run around the boss, avoiding its skills.

I agree, Phase Run feels kinda meh on skelly builds. Only really good for looting or when used while summons are already up. Constant resummoning in maps definitely makes it fall off frequently though.

Hey, thanks for the tips, I've changed those things up and got an avg 100% extra dmg on the minions when recently used a summon, but this league kinda done for me like this since i dont think it's close to 1.5m dps that I had with melee before rolling into skele, gonna try blight maps, because that was a bit of a problem with melee and see how it does there.

ps:ye cant clean blights welp, its a good looking build once its a whole like ur end-build but without 200ex+ i dont think it'll work for Me

Swap place with Quickening Covenant and Dead Reckoning and 99% of your issues should be solved.

You're not even summoning Skelly mages in a skelly mage build. You're summoning Melee skeletons with zero scaling PainChamp

Gotta read what the Jewels do before putting them into the build my friend. Currently your Quickening Covenant is bricking your Lord of the Dead noteable and Dead Reckoning has no intelligence near it.

Follow up question: is enduring cry to give minions onslaught with 50% uptime really better than a minion dps medium cluster?

It is for boss kill and I like having onslaught on call with armour increase.
