Is POE Populated on Console?
Hey guys,
little quick background/situation story, My pc is down for the time being my gpu bit the dust and i cant afford these crazy prices right now , so unfortantly i have to wait untill the gpu market gets a bit better which probably can take a year or so which really sucks LUCKLY before my gpu bit the dust i got my self a xbox series s,but i got a couple questions before i even start playing... How populated is this game on XBOX? is there a lot of players running around like in towns and stuff? or is it mostly a ghost town? on twitch i see every single person that is playing is playing on pc :( so im scared its not populated - i mean its never gonna be populated like PC that i understand but versions of games usually have a big healhy population on console too but is that the same case with this game? anyway hopefully its still pretty populated so i can still play cause if its dead i dont feel like playing it i lose motivation,- also does poe on console have crossplay like xbox/psn? or no? sorry for long post guys :) Last bumped on Dec 7, 2021, 4:14:01 PM

Standard is pretty dead(kinda to be expected) but trade is usually well populated, although i skipped this league so not 100% sure. There is unfortunately no crossplay whatsoever.

" i mean the game in general do u see a lot of people in towns when you play? or is it usually pretty dead? i cant be motivated enough if the game has a very small playerbase :( but i dont think so right since its POE ? has to be populated i hope |

Chat is usually pretty active on xbox. I don't see many people in town but im only in A5. Most people just in the chill in the hideout.

" yea but on pc the towns were quite populated tho hmm but good to know that xbox still has a ton of player looks like im going to install it and invest into the console version (for now) |
|
" Highly advise against investing any money into the console version. GGG has abandoned console. Our patches are highly delayed, don't fix all the things they said they would fix in them, and often introduce new problems. We don't get events. And they don't communicate with us. Not even the poor communication that PC players get. Given the trajectory that console has been on, I suspect that 3.17 will be the last league to be on console, if they even bother with that one. | |
" Sorry but this is total nonsense. I was mad at ggg when they Said no Events for consoles but theyre Right, at First they Need to fix it on pc. The Next thing is that the Events are voided so basically thats shit. And now Tell me Why they should stop investing in console? Poe2 is Made for console. So please stop throwing rumors in to the Forum. Ggg should silence people like you |
|
" no i highley doubt that cause path of exile 2 is coming to console too no way poe is already ending on console, poe has poor communication all around is its nothing new,but i dont mind getting stuff a little late aslong as we get it still |
|
" nice nice so in other words poe has a future in console still? and theres plenty of people playing? ok im installing :) pc is unfortantly a no go for me so its either console poe or not at all lol besides im weird i prefer controllers for ARPGS ever since diablo 3 lol |

" Umm, what *you* are saying is total nonsense. We had Endless Delve last time, when it was brand new. But their excuse ahead of time was "we can't get it through certification on time because of the holidays". Well, *it was during the holidays last time*. Their excuse is silly and clearly not the whole truth. Maybe not even truth at all. And what makes you say PoE2 will be on console? Sure, they said it would be... but that was *ages* ago, back when they were still supporting console. GGG hasn't even answered any of our complaints. Not here, not on Twitter, not on Reddit. Why would someone invest in the console version of the game when there is ZERO evidence that GGG will continue to support it? |
