Race Events and League Ladders - Atlas Invasion (DE008) - Forum

Atlas Invasion: Every area (other than the Twilight Strand) contains five endgame map bosses who are eager to turn you into mince. Should you kill them, they are guaranteed to drop unique items. Any boss that can be witnessed by The Maven can potentially appear, so try not to let the temptation go to your head when The Shaper shows up in the Mud Flats! Endgame map areas also contain these extra bosses. Note: Changing your Ascendancy Class has been disabled for the event. Levelling multiple characters that reach the prize-thresholds can help your odds to win one of the random-draw microtransactions. It's possible for players to win multiple of the random-draw prizes with one or more characters. This race type is voided, characters cannot be migrated. Prizes: The top five players of each of the Ascendancy Classes will receive a Demigod's Authority (Unique Golden Blade). Players who reach level 50 will receive an Atlantis Mystery Box. This prize is available only once per account for this type of event. Levelling multiple characters will not grant multiple mystery boxes. The following prizes are available to players who meet specific level thresholds. These prizes are shared with the other Atlas Invasion events. The winners will be chosen through random-draw: 1,000 players above level 60 will win the Harlequin Footprints Effect 1,000 players above level 60 will win the Wasteland Weapon Effect 1,000 players above level 60 will win the Rose Skull 1,000 players above level 70 will win the Demon King Portal Effect 1,000 players above level 70 will win the Mystic Portal 1,000 players above level 70 will win the Dragon Portal Effect 700 players above level 80 will win the Huntsman Character Effect 700 players above level 80 will win the Zenith Character Effect 700 players above level 80 will win the Temple Character Effect 200 players above level 85 will win the Apocalypse Armour Pack 200 players above level 85 will win the Purple Crystal Armour Pack 200 players above level 85 will win the Stormcaller Armour Pack 200 players above level 90 will win the Ultimate Chaos Cloak 200 players above level 90 will win the Arcane Seraph Wings 200 players above level 90 will win the Huntsman Wings 50 players above level 95 will win the Stygian Wings 50 players above level 95 will win the Demonic Armour Pack 50 players above level 95 will win the White Herald Effect Has any exile really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like? Man the rewards for killing the bosses in this league are SUPER underwhelming. You go into it thinking about the possibilities of rng big uniques, or boss specific stuff available etc, but nope. I don't get why they don't just go crazy with void leagues. I killed almost all uniques in every zone on my way to 85, with no remotely rare drops at all. I don't really understand the point. It was kinda funny to get instagibbed by esh/shavronne/shaper the first couple of times, but beyond that it's just kind of pointless. I feel like it needs to be either a) HC only in the vein of gauntlet or something (emphasizing the danger of the bosses, and hyping up the ability to just survive for the longest), or b) a bit of a silly boosted fun league where everyone is suddenly running around with the new uniques from this patch or something (emphasizing abnmorally easy player power and build testing opportunity).
