PoE 1 Xbox servers are restarting now. They should be back up in approximately .
PoE 1 Xbox servers are undergoing maintenance. Some features will be unavailable.

so ggg... why dont we get any events? or at least an explanation of why we dont.

I have been gaming for over 39 years and started playing ARPGs like Diablo 1 and Baldur's Gate in college. Due to some injuries, I play most of my games on console now. Poe is by far the best ARPG available today. It breaks my heart to complain in this forum because I try to be patient and understanding.

I really had fun last year playing each event and even won a few swords for my efforts. I follow content creators and listen to POE podcasts while I play. POE is my favorite hobby and I put a ton of time and effort into it. I even watch some streamers on Twitch so that I can be ready for the delayed launch on consoles.

Not having any events this December is extremely disappointing. I was so hyped up when I saw all the news released by GGG. I was listening to Sirgog's advise video for endless delve and immediately started planning out my builds. I can't stress how much I feel let down by GGGs decisions.

I watched patiently as people complained league after league about how GGG doesn't care or how they are too greedy. I laughed when Chris Wilson told Reddit to get rolled on Baeclast. I support each league launch with a supporter pack purchase. I feel that I have been a faithful customer. I'm starting to regret my decision to stick with this game.

I can't in good conscience keep financially supporting something that isn't supporting me. The console community might be small, but we support content creators and streamers as well. Or viewership helps them stay viable and allows them to make more content.

I guess what I am trying to say is that console players need some respect. We support PC players, so I hope they support us. GGG, please think about my comments and take them to heart. I want to keep playing this amazing game, but I won't be supporting you financially until things change and we get some respect we deserve.

Respectfully,
Daron
POE is an amazing game over all games I have played for decades and I am still playing for at least 3 hours daily on average.

I was playing on PC for many leagues and recently moved to console, other than less player being active here, I really enjoyed the game on console over PC for these reasons.

1. controller support > keyboard & mouse, I still remember my palm was hurt badly due to excessive gaming on PC.

2. trademarket > pc whisper trade, even though GGG could still optimized it for better QOL, but this trademarket is not yet complete or in its full potential form.

3. comfortable gameplay experience, I love playing POE on big 4K TV while laying on bed.

4. POE is highly optimized on next gen console, for the comparison, I used to play this game on RTX 2070 with core i7 and it still lagged like my old grandpa com, now I can run 4K60 on series X.

My humble suggestion to GGG, this game could have done much better on console, please try to put more effort and make it crossplay, and listened to player's comments. They are your loyal costumer and this community are the one truly want the game to be great, you won't get more player to join PC anytime soon as you already have the data over past years, it is time to get serious on 150 million market.

I love how we don't even exist for them, not a single mistery box for all the saddnes without any event...
Its very disapointing to see GGG let their console players down. Let make a change by simply just NOT PLAYING POE AT ALL! The game is fun but when the company just dont care about its console customer, i dont see how i can support a game company that simply ignore a portions of its player base in any way shape or form.

eff this game company, its the last straw for me! i'm not going to play any other league until these kind of disparity are removed or available to ALL players. The platforms dont matter, every official event should be available to ALL players!

GGG should remove the event board in town since there is ABSOLUTE NO USE FOR THIS FEATURE! So WHY keep this 'thing' alive? its clearly taking frame rate from players in towns! At this point its a parasitic systems and should be removed since GGG don't INTENT to make a usefulness of this feature and dont want to bother to make a use of it.

until next year! (dec. 2022)

still gonna lurk this forums on time to time but dont expect me to return anytime soon on the game. see y'all next year!
When a company dont support their own "OFFICIAL" event for ALL of its PLAYERS, they deserve to sink.

This right here is what you shouldn't do. Imo we should stop paying for mtx until it's fixed and state that loud and clear.

If most stop playing, player count drops really low (I think its already pretty low), so they won't see a market to get in, lessen support or even abandon/shut it down altogether

If we stop paying, but keep the count high (for console standards) they'll more likely notice the market, but wonder why there's no money. Get in touch with community, (hopefully fixes), players are happy, money flows.

It's a company after all and no company could ignore a market that should be money but isn't.
E.g 10000 people buying for 10$ a year= 100000$
I would really like to be included in events as a consol player it feels really bad not being able to participate.
If they could make crossplay for both xbox and ps, that is definitely a plus.
