[3.18] Gryph's Tank Simulator - A Detonate Dead Ignite Elementalist
Right then, time to start getting rid of some of my total trash gear... Edit: So, I'm curse on hit now. What's good for the 3 link that used to be arcanist brand/flammability/flame surge? Perhaps something to directly apply flame surge? Or... perhaps molten shell links? Empower/enhance/increased duration seems fun. Last edited by NoImagination#6952 on Feb 16, 2022, 4:24:09 PM

So is there anyone reading this thread and farming up the ideal wands to sell to us lazy suckers? The idea of doing that many TFT trades sounds awful, and even if you farm up the Aislings yourself, you're more than likely going to need to buy the +Phys slam to finish it without going insane. I have a Synthesised Wand with the faster Ignite implicit + rolled a rare with just the T1 DOT Multi suffix, but the whole process sounds like a headache tbh.
e: " I feel like it'll be hard to beat +25% more damage, at least against pinnacle bosses. Maybe a Arcanist Brand / Flame Surge / Increased Duration to make it so you don't have to apply it quite as often? As for mapping, I guess you could do Flame Dash + Faster Casting and still have room for Shield Charge + Faster Attacks on the shield, for times where you need to hop over obstacles. But overall, if you're at a point where you're getting luxury items like that, I feel like you can basically just run through the map and pop DD without having to do anything else really. What is better in terms of damage?
Level 28 Unearth or Level 27 Phantasmal Unearth + Enhance 3/4. |
|
" Phantasmal Unearth by a mile, even if you don't have Ashes of the Stars and / or Enhance. The difference only becomes more pronounced the more quality you add. Assuming you have +20% corpse life from the tree and the +5 level helm enchant: Unearth 28: Corpse level of 93, roughly estimated at 109,676 earlier in the thread. Multiply by 1.2 for a total of 131,611.2 corpse life. Phantasmal Unearth 27, 20% quality: Corpse level of 92, roughly estimated at 101,365. Multiply by 1.6 for a total of 162,184. That alone is about 23% more life than Unearth 28 in this setup. Enhance 3: total of 36% quality or +72% to corpse life = 194,620.8 Enhance 4: total of 44% quality or +88% to corpse life = 210,839.2 Enhance 5 (4 + "+1 to socketed gems): total of 52% quality or +104% corpse life = 227,057.6 Add in Ashes of the Stars for +20-30% more, assuming Enhance 5: Minimum roll +20% quality: total of 72% quality or +144% corpse life = 267,603.6 Maximum roll +30% quality: total of 82% quality of +164% corpse life = 287,876.6 So in the most basic scenario, your corpses have ~23% more life. In the most advanced scenario, your corpses will have ~119% more life. |

" I am in the same boat, for anyone considering making one for sale. |
|
" That's actually pretty sweet... I might just do a more vanilla Detonate Dead build with Desecrate and maybe switch to Unearth long-term if I really like it. Getting the benefit of Spectre corpses without actually having to use/manage Spectres is pretty huge for me. Last edited by IceTwenty#0726 on Feb 17, 2022, 4:36:32 PM

A dumb question but: "Can we run reflect?"
Since damage comes from corpse I guess yes? But no brand and direct hit from unearth. |
|
" Yes, but a badly timed tempest shield or wave of conviction proc can be scary, but generally its pretty chill. A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion (Proverbs 18:2)

All mods are fine, though I turn off malevolence for no regen maps and make sure to get hit a bit. Monsters avoiding ailments can be kind of annoying too, but it just slows our clearspeed (perhaps by a lot if you don't have explode from somewhere?)
