New patch update?

I am playing PoE since closed beta on PC and this is my first league on console (got a PS5 from my wife and I had to try) and it's blowing my mind how different the support and communication are.

I wonder how big the paying player base is compared to PC.

They made a big thing a while ago about improving the communication with the console version.

Didn't last very long, pretty terrible support this league, shame on you GGG

Console has and will always be an after thought to GGG. If they remember we exist they throw out the occasional word to placate. Meanwhile PC gets regular what we are working on for the future posts in between patches updates.

I mean at this point looking beyond league stuff I don't know if GGG even plan to support current gen consoles (PS5 & Xbox series consoles) or if we will be shackled to last gen backwards compatibility as we are now whenever they push POE 2.0 The Next Generation, Lord & Saviour of all arpgs.

As a player it's certainly more than a little demotivating just being in the dark all the time.
