Energy Blade

So, with 3.25...

I'm guessing there's no way to get the new enchants for weapons on energy blades?

Also probably no way to raise the weapons' quality to get the new multiplicative bonuses?

Really discouraging when new and interesting gems are released (plus MTX) and then seemingly immediately kinda forgotten for several updates after as far as making accommodations for mechanics.

Edit: Confirmed on both :\ Enchants don't carry over and, obviously, can't move an EB so can't apply enchants to it. Additionally, raising the quality of the gem does not affect the blade quality, so you lose the multiplicative changes also. Really disappointing and just feels kinda lame to forget relatively new skills so quick after creating them.

It would be nice to have a transfigured version of the skill that creates a staff instead of a sword. Given that there is sort of an equivalent thematically in PoE 2 with Charged Staff, the concept being brought into PoE 1 would be cool. Also it would allow a bunch of attack skills and supports to overcome the sword weapon restriction.
