[3.19] DO NOT USE - Fuzzy Duckzy's Lightning Strike Raider - Great League Starter

What's the best way to incorporate poison chance into the build? The Claw Mastery "Enemies Poisoned by you cannot deal Critical Strikes" seems way too good to not run.

There is a poison wheel just before the claw wheel. You could take just 1 point in here which gives you 10% chance to poison on hit. With the amount of attacks we do this should guarantee a boss is poisoned within a couple of seconds

It is something to think about. There are too many good claw Masteries :(

Is there a reason Retaliation is allocated as an anoint on the tree in the POB? The amulets in the dropdown list don't have that anoint on them and I'm not sure where it's coming from. If it's not supposed to be there then no big deal, but I want to make sure I am not missing something obvious.

It is not meant to be there. I think it is because in the end game tree we pick this up with the thread of hope. For some reason when I removed the jewel that node stayed allocated.

Not taking Disciple of Slaughter? Taking that cluster instead of, for example, Primeval Force seems to give a few more % of damage, as well as some movement speed and a bit of evasion.

I will take disciple of slaughter and Disciple of the unyielding with a very large thread of hope. As it is only 1-2% of damage I will probably not waste respec points on it, but you are right that wheel is slightly more damage. The mastery of 3% per charge looks pretty good too since I am sure eventually we will work both endurance charges and frenzy charges into the build

I dropped Herald of Ice for Grace as we can now fit in 2 x 50% Auras and Precision. I think with an enlightened attach to these 3 we may be able to squeeze in Herald of Ice. Agreed about SC I always build defence first but we I see no issue dropping Grace for Damage but you will lose a lot of evasion

Sounds like a decent option I guess. I think I'm just gonna add Vaal Grace to my cwdt immortal call inc duration setup and see how it goes. Especially since I'm pretty sure I'll have to respec the aura nodes eventually to run a cluster jewel.

You can actually fit Herald of Ice in too end game without an enlighten support:
- Remove Primevil Force Wheel
- Take Acuity Wheel by the Lethal Pride Jewel and take mastery that gives precision 100% Increase Mana efficiency
- Annoint Charisma.

This gives you: Herald of Ice, Precision, Grace and Anger

Since I really really like HoI explosion I checked the PoB and saw that the annoint wasn't used yet (Rather Forces of Nature was both allocated and annointed), so I went and annointed Sovereignty. With that and Herald of Ice we have 62 unreserved mana :/ Guess we still need the enlighten.

This gives you: Herald of Ice, Precision, Grace and Anger and just under 100 mana which should be enough. You may also be able to pick mana up on rings or amulet to alleviate this a little
I noticed Lethality on the passive tree was changed. Is there a reason why you don't pick it up for the easy crit and multi?

p.s. I've never played lightning strike so lmk if this was a dumb question to ask.

In the current POB for 3.16 he has Lethality allocated.
I really like the playstyle of LS.

However, I tried this build back in expedition (saw fuzzy video) as a starter and was unhappy that I wasn't doing enough damage. Maybe its because of those mobs with crazy affixes or it could be a number of things. I eventually ditch the build when I hit yellow maps because it felt ZDPS.

The new changes got me excited but...wary about the 2m dps with gear.

it is defense version of build. Offensive version can reach about 3.5m with the same gear and about 15m with very good gear(80+ex)
