Content Update 3.16.0 -- Path of Exile: Scourge
Can we have GGG's statemant if Resolute Technique will still be present on mobs in 3.16? People are already mentioning Izaro (from lieutenant), Syndicate members and Rogue Exiles rolling with RT which completely negates evasion. This might be an issue since dodge is gone and not all evasion characters will go into block.
I know Bex posted on Reddit that he forwarded this issue to dev team but there is nothing about it in patch notes (please correct me if im blind and haven't noticed it). |

Guys, just to be clear.
Not the developers that have no brains. These kind of decisions are made by the men in tie. And their brains gain 0 oxygen because the tie is too tight around their necks. |

" Im one of those heavy complainers if you look at my last few posts. After thinking on it awhile though i’m starting to consider it may not be dead, not because of the new damage mods, but because we don’t have the full picture yet. Once the skill tree and POB are out we will have most of the picture to draw a good conclusion for league start, SSF and midgame trade league levels of gear. You will also have a reasonable conclusion if its dead for endgame with whatever gear you have in standard. Then once we know all those new scourge mods you will be 99% sure that its really dead at endgame for the league. Full certainty only once its playtested in various scenarios. I really want to see that list of mods you can choose from when you get a cluster of block nodes. Maybe you can shore up the lost spell block with just that. Add the reworked shields and some combo of old uniques and it might come pretty close to 80/80(i doubt tho). Maybe the max res on the tree means you don’t even look for spell block. Sure feels like its dead but its possibly not. *as a side note if you are lucky or rich enough to get that stupidly OP new belt, then you can make Glad work for sure. What about Repeated Experiment?! Is it gone?! Best Passive for Metamorph is gone. Very sad indeed exile.

Patch note look great but is there anything better for self cast? Global defenses help but totems and trappers benefit the same. Any buffs to self cast gems? Infusion, Intensify, Unleash? More nodes for these in tree under mastery? More defenses for standing still? I hope when gem data comes out we can see something for these archetypes.

" I understand what I read and have been playing exclusively HCSSF gladiator so far. What kills you in HC are spells and ele hits. Oh and boss crits, which armour still doesn't do anything about, because it still one-shots you. What the patch says in terms of block chance vs attacks is you can have me, I am better than before. Just invest 6 ascendancy points instead of the 4. I am also a bit thinner now, since I don't protect you vs spell hits. Too bad. But hey what, if you invest even more - this time in the skill tree - you can have some protection. Although I gave away a significant portion of my protection but you will be somewhat protected vs spell hits. Hey but you know what? Invest even more, sacrifice a couple of elemental resistance suffixes and maybe even the life gain on block suffix and you can get more phys damage reduction vs hits. Not DOT though.
