Meh, i'm not sure the game needs another currency that is even rarer than the exalted orb, especially not when it has such a small impact.

I also don't understand the happiness chris gets from random items dropping. I usually don't even look at items anymore because the only viable way to good items is by crafting or by buying; picking up random loot on the floor will do nothing but frustrate you and waste your time. I mean, I really like better crafting options and such getting added to the game to be honest, because picking up stuff from the ground is just awful gameplay with the amount of bad mods items can have.

This increases interaction with white items ever so slightly, which is probably a good thing (a friend of mine recently asked me why there are white items even still dropping and i didn't know an answer), but then again not really, because the only interaction will be with a loot filter, should one configure it that way.

rare or not most of the people still playing your game don't want this new problem or its "solution".

Problem: Chris admitted he is not happy with the core loot system in this game. Usable items don't drop and everything has to be crafted by the 1%.

New Problem: Instead of working on loot 2.0 or fixing the core loot system, GGG doubles-down on the status quo and introduces another 1% crafting mechanic.

Solution: Kick the can down the road...

What I got from this is that it's a new mechanic, and i look foward to It. If it is something designed to raise even higher your ES/ DEF/ EVA pool, I don't understand at all what you guys are complaning. Like really. Give me something better beside memes. And make sure you understood how the mechanic works.
