The old:
(1 worm) 40% increased reservation -> cost x 1.4
(vault) 10% increased reservation -> cost x 1.1
(vault + 1 worm) 50% increased reservation -> cost x 1.5
(vault + 2 worms) 90% increased reservation -> cost x 1.9
Manageable.

The new:
(1 worm) 80% reduced efficiency -> cost / 0.2 (== cost x 5 !!)
(vault + 1 worm) 100% reduced efficiency -> cost / 0.0 (instance crashes anytime you cast a reservation skill)
(vault + 2 worms) 180% reduced efficiency -> cost / -0.8 (== you gain cost x 1.25 ??)
Pray it will be readjusted before release.
Some epic shakeup in 3.16.

I dunno, the old system seemed like a convoluted multiplicative series of nonsense. Just like with things like cooldown reduction ( oh wait, increase ).

The new system is just a bunch of made up pseudo science nonsense for the sake of even more confusion. I always love when 100% of something equals 50% ... god bless the Kiwi English language.

New system looks like 50% for 100% efficiency, 33% for 50% efficiency, and 25% for 25% efficiency. Another jank curve scaling just as bad as the old one, with an entirely new name and even more confusing numbers.

It would have made more sense if "efficiency" worked like it does on skills, so you would then spend passives on reserve reduction that would be multiplied by the efficiency %. That keeps it in line with everything else, and doesn't introduce doublespeak math numbers that no person will understand by just looking at it.

On another topic, RIP Ignite, EO, and Steel bleed / poison builds.
You need to recognize the difference between fun and broken mechanics, also when you try to find a new build I assure you that you will also find more fun

If the reactions are anything to go by I don't really understand why GGG feels it necessary to cater to the most obnoxious, toxic and uninvested players in the community. The lowest common denominator so to speak. The garbage people are spewing is a bit much.

to the guy that said lower aura effect on others is a simple solution, wouldn't that ruin necro builds and other builds that buff minions like herald of purity?
Ggg why kill aura stacking solo, a build that is great for long term upgrades and a build people have put so much time into. The problem was party play and it would have been so easy to just make auras not effect allies as well. Just seems bad to waste so much game knowledge and time spent by your players to make a change like this. This is the first time i can say i hope reddit makes you revert a change. And even worse has me wanting to jump on the “dont support the game until they stop making these kinds of changes” train.
