Purity of Elements was a good band aid for elemental resistances early on, either during story or early mapping before players could find/afford gear with decent resists. By adding elemental ailment immunity, it further solidifies it as an incredibly strong defensive option before players are able to really invest into elemental ailment mitigation.
High end aurabots have been the main ones to really use purity of elements in the end game, but that's more because elemental resistances are easily capped. Aurabots that get it don't even care about the elemental resistances, they pick it up as another aura for guardian's 1% phys reduction per aura and/or necromancer's 2~3% attack/cast speed per aura. For top players, Purity of Elements was just meant as another aura, like taking level 1 precision, clarity, or vitality. In fact, the 50% mana reservation likely hurts high end aura bots more than a typical player that might pick it up to cover resists early on. |

Still holding my breath but it looks really good! Hopefully, we don't get whooped in the buttocks as we did in 3.15. My RSI will hopefully be mitigated too since they buffed base flask duration. Hopefully, this can bring back some of the players back. Buying in Expedition league was more painful than any other league. Keep up the good work~!

I don't really get it. It will get easier getting ailment immune and some options for handling stuffs on flasks in the meantime. The new mods on shield and belt are +- crap, yes a T1 chaos dot res is better than a T5-T6 res obviously but it's not that good and the shield mod is meh, the rare times I have been destroyed through cb I was not even mobile, it was like a big CoC explosion instaggibing me from dot on a shock field or something like that. The counter to that is easy, just sacrifice half a jewel slot for corrupting blood immunity, it's not even luxury and it will remain the meta for dealing with bleed.
