Any suggestions for improvements would be appreciated.

Culling strike, Unnerved, % of mana as ES on shield, and u may want curse elem weakness on ur gloves

Thanks, I've been fiddling with pob so much that I completely forgot about culling strike.
Can someone explain to me the mechanics of this build. What is the purpose of ball lightning? It say it does 60k dps to manabond's 10 mil dps.

Also if I hit the 14% breakpoint CDR, how do i get enough attack speed? Onslaught flask is not consistent enough for bosses.

I've been running this as follows, but my specific understanding is not 100%.

Ball Lightning is your mob clearing skill. It procs automatically off your Cast while Channeling Cyclone. Both Cyclone and Ball Lightning do a pretty good job.

Manabond helps with the damage nicely, but things really heat up when you proc Arcane Cloak and thus enable Arcane Surge. All your spells dial up to 11 then. Mana usage goes off the chart and your mana regen fails miserably to keep up, but the damage is insane for everything. Manabond, Cyclone, Ball Lightning, Vortex, etc all do tremendous amounts of more damage for a short period of time.

When Arcane Cloak cools down and your mana is back up, fire it again and wreak havoc. While your mana is low, that's when Manabond shines.

I don't care much for the PoB values of damage, I prefer to get a feel for them in game, so I can't answer anything related to PoB.

My biggest gripe is the small/medium window of time when you're waiting for your mana to regen after Arcane Cloak's crazy damage is finished. Timing it with a instant-recovery mana flask helps a bit, but with a mana pool so large there's still room for improvement.

For belanna - Can u post a crafting guide for that belt of yours - it would be awesome

And for rings if u crafted them

Thanks <3
Haven't played a Mjölner build before and gotta say this build's been a blast but that might also be because I'm a sucker for cyclone

Been checking out what other folks are running on poeninja and just wondering why no one seems to be using Lavianga's Spirit as their mana flask? I found it was fantastic for burst MP restore if I'm either low on Coruscating or want to burst with Arcane Cloak again

Combined with good regen rolls on either Foible or Stampede it effectively nulls the MP drain from the Indigon effect if I'm out of Coruscating
Lavianga allows you not to spend mana - However, Arcane surge/cloak is based on missing mana - so I think thats way

I was running a while back archmage build with enkis arc, and I was also like why not lavianga, its because of dps i think
Hi there. Really interested in running your build - what is a rough budget to get this up and off the ground?

Well, well, well...now THIS is what I've been looking for! Thank you! The real power of this build comes from Arcane Cloak/Surge and the immense damage increase it does for all skills. Sure it does well on low-mana, but nothing beats a full-mana pool Arcane Cloak pop for pure DPS. And this flask helps us get there.

How I'm running it:
- tough fight ahead, pop Arcane Cloak on full mana pool.
- wait a few seconds and then chug Lavianga's Spirit.
- mana immediately goes from dwindling downwards to full regen as now your crazy high mana expensive Arcane Surge'd skills now cost nothing
- wait another few seconds for Arcane Cloak to cool off and repeat.

With a cooldown reduction belt, it's minimal downtime between shots. And no more waiting for the mana to regen.

EDIT: It's the helmet, Indigon, which is responsible for the massive mana usage. Says right in the description...duh...not sure how I missed that.
