Do skelly mages feel a lot better than skelly warriors for mapping?


So, found an ex and yolo'ed it for fleshcrafter. Results are stunning, clearspeed is magnitudes better compared to warriors, even with crappy gems (level 19 skellies, still getting cards to get 21, etc...), you just press mages, they pew-pew-pew for a second, screen is clear, you proceed to the next one.

I ran Pale Angels for a while, when i accidentally lost my Preachers and some one in chat happened to have Angels, Pledge of Hands makes the omega beam pretty nasty for bossing, 4 cast with each one after first being more powerfull then the last every is kinda nice DPS and nicely makes up for the longish cd.
Infact those Angels got me my first ever Sirius kill.


I will try Pledge of Hands with Pale Angels. Thank you for bringing it up, I forgot that the staff existed.


Perhaps I will combo this with skeleton mages and Zealotry/Wrath auras.

If I'm planning to go Skeleton Mages eventually how do you get the level 21 quality 23% gems the pob has on the vaal summon skeletons?

I think the 23% comes from Syndicate but how do you get a level 21 on a gem that's already corrupted? Do you Vaal orb normal summon skeletons and just pray for a level increase and to convert it?

I switched to gravebind and it is soooooo much better. You lose the curse but whatever. Also let me link offering with an faster casting because 1 second cast time in the nightmare was always a bit scary. Still have 2 sockets left over, currently trying armageddon brand with culling but I am sure there is something better.

Maybe Vaal Haste? I changed gems and links like this, will see how it goes:

Hi Kay!

I'm looking to learn about other spectres and the Primal Crushclaws peaked my interested. Someone mentioned to me that the Crabs apply a debuff to the target which increases cold damage taken.

I tried looking them up on PoEdb but can't find any information on it.
When reading your guide you've mentioned the "HarvestNessaCrabScreech" which I assume is the ability. But can't find any numbers on it.

I asked Ghazzy about them on his stream and he said it was a 50% increased cold damage taken multiplier, which just sounds otherwordly to me.
I'm wondering if you know anything about the numbers. In particular the % of the modifiers and the durations if you know anything.

Interested in simply using one as a support minion for my cold conversion build.
If it really is a 50% dmg modifier it's a gamechanger.

Their clear is terrible though, and they clutter the screen with water jets. You'd ha e to rely on golems for clear then, which would make the build feel much worse.

Edit: Never mind, I can see from the other thread you are thinking of running 1.
