guys a question about single targhet golem build, i know its not the most popular and optimal build but being at lv85 in league what i should focus on:
- Aegis?
- Cluster of 8?

In the second case, is it better to go direct for Vicious Bite, Renewal, Feasting Fiends (or rotten claw) or take something less expensive at the beginning (call of the slaughter instead of vicious) and change it later?

I'm assuming you are going for "Poison Spiders 3.17", so that's my vision about what are missing for you:

Your main trouble for damage, i think is your Jewel setup:

You don't have any notable wich grant's boost damage in your Large Cluster's, this notables, listeds by Kay, are very important for getting extra damage;

You don't have any Ghastly Jewels with "minions deal #% increased damage if you've used a minion skill recently", and that is source of a LOT of damage;

You don't have Quickening Covenant, wich grant's cast/atack speed for minions.

For tanky, you need to check the passive tree, some of your points are different, also check gear, most of your defenses will be from rings + Body Armour, try to get 75% in all elements and manage to get some good chaos resist too. And you need to get a Surging Vitality too.

Also, "Darkness Enthroned" give you 2 extra Ghastly slot, wich can give your minions +40% damage.

Most of this itens, mainly Large Cluster/Body Armour, can be very expensive, but you feel the difference when you get them.

These are situational questions, always depends on what you are looking for:

Cluster's are a MASSIVE damage increase, Aegis is massive defenses increase.

At this point, Aegis are not expensive, so i would recomend to get that first for great defense.


About Clusters, also is a situational question, because each cluster wich 3 notables (renewal, vicious, feasting fiends) cost like 4-6 ex's.

Most the times i go for some cheap clusters that cost's no more than 1ex, and then i go for good clusters (Good, not perfect ones, they are expensive, so don't botter to buy perfect ones in your first buy)

Good Clusters - Max 8 Passives - 3 notables that i want, and MAYBE (depending on price) something more like +Attribute/Resists.

Perfect Ones - Same as good ones, but we will go for good buffs in Small Passives, T1 Chaos or Elemental Resists for example.

Nice setup, explains things well. Not sure I will try this again tho, very complicated, busy play style. But at least I managed to get to t3 maps for the first time in 2 years so I have that going for me.

Your build is generally fine, your level is just too low. Spell gems get a lot of power from their level and your gems are only level 16.

The most important things now are

- buy a level 21/0 Vaal Summon Skelletons (10c)
- buy a cluster jewel win blessed rebirth, so your skelletons don't die all the time

Then just level your gems and slowly improve your gear.

Guys, can someone explain me, why I cannot kill sirus guards in maven invitation? Please check my gear. Maybe I miss something?

I am really frustrated. Because on corrupted map with 120+ quantity very easy. But on ivintations I suffer from conquers... Skeleton mages suppose to be very strong build, right?
