It might worth taking Golem Commander if you need the int from travel nodes to satisfy the wand requirements. 242 Intelligence requirement for +2 wands is no joke. Also, might help with running an additional aura if you anoint Charisma instead.

Yes, and i even just imported my char into your POB.

The Golemancer Build uses Windshriek Boots to get a 3rd Curse Aura. But can't I just slap the Windshriek Boots on my Animate Guardian instead? At least then I could equip boots with much better Stats.

It's a bit harder to get 3rd curse on the AG because the AG needs 3 curse limit (+2 curse).

The curse limit is based on the last person/minion to apply curses. If you have +1 curse and AG has +1 curse: You cast curse first with 2 curses (vixen mechanic punishment -> trigger assassin's mark) and AG curses after you (vulnerability). punishment will be removed and the enemy will have assassin's mark and punishment.

Does it make sense? :P

I'm probably change back to double curse in 3.18 though. Then you can use AG to add second curse (vulnerability on hit gloves) and you can self cast assassin's mark!

You need to refund Mental Rapidity and put points in another place.

Get awakened minion damage

Replace bone chill -> increased critical damage.

I think original question about golem commander was for league starter, it's a lot of passives points to get golem commander when low level.

For 3.18, I was thinking of moving 2nd curse to AG and then we have freedom for the gloves again. So you could use breathstealer if you wanted second anoint!

The base build in the video is actually pretty cheap! I think you can start with less than 5ex.

The big costs is wand (self-carfted for 37ex)
awakened gems
large cluster

Can start with a +1 wand (cheap) or even cold iron point if you don't care casting desecrate/offering.
get awakened gems when you can afford them.
you can craft cluster with harvest, just keep using critical craft even if you just have vicious + renewal it is enough.

I totally did not know that. I was assuming that the curse limit would be shared between the AG and me.

I'm wondering what is the best weapon for this Dominating Blow build?

I noticed you went with a dagger in your build, but I've seen other people mention claws.

Could you tell me your thoughts on a weapon for this please?

Actually it should be a gemini claw! life and mana recovery helps a lot.


I crafted with essence of fear for minion damage mod


Then added trigger craft so I don't need to self-cast desecrate + bone offering.


I think many people use scourge. It's better if you care about your damage, but I just rely on my minions instead :)



Edit2: You can also try using 2x offering and leash of oblation. divergent flesh offering will give about 35% more dps actually.


Edit: I found the problem. the video guide has the claw, but POB has dagger because I wast testing something else! I have updated POB
