This is exactly right.

Desecrate must be before the offering. Because it's cast in order 1 -> 2 -> 3. If bone offering is cast before desecrate, nothing happens and you have to wait 8s for next round.

lifetap only needs to be linked so it can be first or last
poe is going down fast. Diablo 4 and Baldur's Gate 3 have no performance issues. play them instead
I'm also having some issues with my supports dying in the spider build, not sure why really. My specters/golem die pretty much every map. I do have the anomalous controlled destruction, two cluster jewels with Renewal etc. Pretty much have the whole set up, other than some awakened gems in the blade for dps. I tried a different Bone helmet with less reduced Minion life to see if that would help, but still having the same issue. I'll link my support gem set up below in case I'm missing something.

I'm clearing t16s with 4 scarabs/sextants etc. with just the spiders after my specters/golem die, so its not a big deal. It's just a bit tedious to re-summon the specters after each map. Maybe its something in my atlas tree? Since others mentioned harbingers maybe being the issue. It usually happens when there's several big packs overlapping like beyond/harbinger and such. I don't mind respecing my atlas tree if its just an issue with harbinger or something.

Otherwise the build is working very well and I'm enjoying it a lot. It super tanky and everything dies pretty easily, and I don't even have all the dps I could yet. Thanks so much for making the build kay (:


Can someone list all of the good flask variants of basalt and quartz flask? I already got these flasks that the written guide recommends but I can't find the exact ones of the other two



How well does skelemage build work without clusters? I have dead reckoning and fleshcrafter, and I've found cluster jewel bases, but still need resources to craft them.

This is what I have been doing as well and it is one of the great thing about spiders. They are immune to damage, so all you have to do is sit back around a corner and let the spiders go off and do their thing.

I started running convocation rather than Divine Ire: If I need more spiders I just back off from the big pack, drop worms, and bring my support minions back. They kills the worms instantly and summon more spiders. It has the added benefit of healing the supports a bit and I can always pull them out of a big pack if the golem starts to die.

It's too bad there isn't a way to transfer buffs from yourself to minions. Gravebinding + headhunter would be a real treat to see.

Convocation is a great idea, although I find that Divine Ire is needed sometimes at bosses. But right now I can run both, as I have an extra reservation efficiency node instead of Enlighten Support. Convocation is great defensively to protect minions and offensively to spiderbomb!
What is considered the top build now?

[Edit] I'm an idiot, I was running 4b 2r until I can vorici or harvest my chest. Was missing controlled destruction....

I'm having the same issue with spectres and golem dropping like flies even though i obliterate everything with spiders. The build is amazing, but i agree something neesd to be done to help the support minions.

I'm gonna replace haste and generosity with convocation and see how that works out, maybe i'll try to find a slotted ring, my survivability is amazing, i can sacrifice a bit of life.

I like convocation for the utility and extra fun. Definitely keeping it for now.

I also want to offer an alternative Large Cluster Jewel, and ask Kay's opinion on it. I don't think I can link it without removing it from my tree, but it is Call to the Slaughter, Raze and Pillage, Rotten claws.

This is mostly for people who don't have the points to allocate the third notable yet, or they have them elsewhere (maybe, like me, they need life nodes until they upgrade their rings more), since the optimal jewel needs the third notable allocated. It is also significantly cheaper.

Without allocating Rotten Claws, the other two notables still provide very good damage according to PoB. Call to the Slaughter will not be providing its full bonus because spiders are not raised every 4 seconds, but in practice they resummon themselves as you fight, so it will often apply to some of them. And when you need to resummon on long boss fights it is a nice little bonus.

Ignite for Raze and Pillage should be permanently on, especially on bosses, giving the full damage bonus.

So unless I am ignoring some any obvious mechanics (for example does ignite work normally on bosses), this is a very good jewel if you are a few passive points short.
Hello Kay, I got a few question for the skeleton mage build that I'm in doubt. If you or some1 else can help me TIA :)

1- Cast speed mod or damage mod on the abyss jewel?

2- For damage boost aura, should I drop skitterbots and use zealtory or another one aura?

3- I have +1 all spells and cast speed minion wand. Does +1 minion/+1 all spells is a game changer?

4- Ashes of the start is a better amulet then +1 skeleton mod on rare amulet(with life+res)?

5- I`m using assassin mark and enfeeble curses. Is there better options?

Sry for many questions, i`ve been breaking my head to decide :)
