I just fell in love with this build, seriously. I always try to play for fun and relaxation, and this is the first build I see that really makes this game easier. I'm following your guide, step by step, including your own changes regarding the Shield Charge skill. I just want your opinion on Mon'tregul's Scepter. I'm tempted to use this scepter in place of the wand, but I want your opinion as I'm following your guide to the letter. A big hug.

PS: Sorry for my english, i'm from Brazil. :)

That's wonderful to hear nubexiliumbr!

Your message is very kind and I'm so glad the build suits you so well. Thanks for taking the time to be so encouraging. I really appreciate it. Brasil has a very special place in my heart. I lived there for a year and a half. Since I'm from the west coast of Canada, my experiences there were so impactful, I think of my time there almost daily. Eu adoro seu pais e cultura. I wish I still spoke the language.

In regards to your question, Mont's is an awesome staff. Its pros and cons are really even making it a hard choice. I think gameplay will be your best test here. So many factors come into play like zombies' leech, taunt frequency, visual clarity...but I think the coolest factor is always the most important ;)...bigger zombies. That's hard to pass up.

Seriously though, it's a toss-up. You can't go wrong with either choice.

Sorry for the "non-answer" but obrigado for the very kind message :).

Hello, Wrecker!
Thanks for your build. I was playing poe in Delirium for the first time and now I came back. Your build is so different with no gear specified and all that freedom of choce :)

I have one question about that:
"
So, Arrogance is a lifesaver that has a heavy cost...life :). It makes the linked auras reserve life instead of mana at twice the normal cost. So both Vitality and Clarity will reserve around 100- flat life. That's a lot. So that's why it's optional. You can choose to you one aura, both, none, switch between them...play around with it and see what you like.

Both Vitality and Clarity reserve a flat amount of mana/life, not a percentage.

For me it is like ~450 life. I'm wondering if something changes recently. Is it still worth that reservation?

Hey Muchobójca!

I'll change it right away. I must have accidentally removed a sentence when making the guide. Both skills combined will reserve 1000ish life. I'll make the fix right away.

I posted a new gem setup at the top of the guide that I'll likely keep using for 3.16 if the new league changes don't change this build much. I'm going to start messing around to see if I need either skill as well. In terms of if the life reservation is worth it, that's up to you. Do a few maps with them on, then another few with them turned off. See what you like.

Sorry for the vague answer. I appreciate you pointing out the error in the guide though!

And thanks for the kind words :). I'm really appreciate them.

4L: Void Sphere 1 - Hextouch - Vulnerability - Culling Strike

Does this mean we are having to cast void sphere ourselves?

Ya. So the idea is, that Void Sphere is your only button...per say. Bone Armour would be the second, but since it's an instant skill it can be put on the move button on PC. (I play the same way on console but my "move button" is X.)

Thought I'd post a quick update on the set up I'm currently running. It is based on the updated gem links you posted on page 8:

6L: Zombies, Meat Shield, Brutality, Melee Physical, Multistrike, Fortify
4L: Spectres, Minion Life, Maim, Melee Physical
4L: Void Sphere (1), Hextouch, Vulnerability, Culling Strike (11)
4L: CwDT (7), Desecrate (1), Bone Offering (12), Withering Step (1)
2L-1: Golem, Feeding Frenzy - Skitterbots
2L-1: Shield Charge, Stun Support - Pride

This setup seems to be working well, but I'm probably not done experimenting. I have tried using the Arrogance, Vitality, Clarity links a couple times but just don't personally like the life sacrifice. Shield charge is also a personal preference that I find very useful in Heist and Delirium encounters specifically (I run it maxed). Also, when entering arenas or maven invitations I switch out the Brutality gem for Predator Support to make sure I can focus the zombies on a single target.

I run with Bone Armor on my move button, shield charge on RMB, and void sphere as my only keyboard button other than flasks. I do have a quartz flask that has reduced charges used + armor and casts when full to add a little defense regularly.

Thanks so much Wrecker! I'm level 93 now and have picked up the jewel socket we passed up, plus a shield-related passive.

Awesome Krush_U!

Nice work. I love seeing what people do with the build and how they make it their own. Let us know how things keep progressing! And nice work on 93. I've only ever hit 92 once. Good job!

Oh, and just a heads up, the gem setup you're following is on the top of the guide as well; on the front page. Just in case that makes things easy for you.

I updated the blurb in the gem section about Arrogance, Clarity and Vitality to say that it reserves 1000 health, not 100. Oooops!
